SC10 receiver box compatible with T4?
I recently got back into the RC scene and pulled my RC10T4 out of storage. I noticed the SC10 comes with a waterproof receiver box (part #9877). Does this work on a RC10T4? I'd like to put one in to protect my receiver from water during bashing sessions. The Associated site lists is as compatible wi...

Re: New reproduction and Protype parts
I would leave the battery holder as is. It's not a huge deal and at least it will work with everything.

Re: newest and only losi in my collection
I'd say that is a steal at that price! You decide if you are going to keep it or sell it?

Nice find! Looks like it's in pretty good shape but you are missing the upper front chassis brace.

Re: My Junior 2 build
Graphite Splinters!!!! :( Sometimes I would run my car on concrete...and get huge graphite splinters when I picked up the chassis. This alone would be a good enough reason to run the plastic chassis  I switched to the junior 2 chassis when I first saw it at a local trade show. When bolted toge...

Not my first post (didn't even look into this section until now) but I thought I would introduce myself. Been into R/C since I was just a little kid. I probably got my first R/C car when I was 10 or 11 (I'm 34 now). A Nikko Turbo Panther that ran for about 5 minutes and took 16 hours to charge! My f...

Re: Kyosho Raider rebuild
Yeah thats the way to pop them out. I usually hit it with the side of a pliers. If you liver in between the the aluminum hex and wheel shaft mounting, you will be scratching and damaging the hex. I have a turbo raider myself, not driven it though, have customized it with metal linkages, carbon fibe...

Re: My Junior 2 build
I love the Junior cars and trucks. Among my all time favorites and I don't have a clue why. If you're going to use the graphite JRXT chassis, throw a 5 link rear end on that sucker,H arms just don't have that kooky, cool factor. That is a JRXT chassis you have, right? It'll be a mighty short ill handl...

Re: My Junior 2 build
The composite chassis is far stiffer than the graphite. Keep in mind you must use the top plate with the composite. The standard JRX2 chassis has a 20 degree front kick while the rest of the JRX cars had a 30 degree. Since I don't buy into the hype of having chassis flex in some situations for hand...

Re: My Junior 2 build
Yeah I guess that is true. I'll be using all Junior 2 suspension parts though. I should probably check if the body from my 2 would even fit over this chassis.minreg wrote:I always preferred the graphite chassis. But if you use that it wont be a Junior 2 build, right.

My Junior 2 build
I have an old Junior 2 that I have started resurrecting. I have most of the parts and bought a donor car off Ebay (thread here ) that has most of the parts I need. I have my original Junior 2 chassis and it's in excellent condition. The donor car has a short JRX2 graphite chassis. Which one is stron...

Re: Kyosho Raider rebuild
Btw, the drive washer shown above is installed backwards...just as a FYI. Seems to be pretty common That is the one that is worn out so I'll be replacing it. The other one is on there so tight I can't even get it off. I've tried putting a vice grip on it and pulling but it won't budge. Any suggesti...

Re: Kyosho Raider rebuild
Well I scored a whole bunch of spare parts for a Raider on Ebay yesterday. Should be just about everything I need to finish this build. Finished cleaning and rebuilding the entire suspension and gearbox so not much left to do. Hopefully I have it finished and running by this weekend!
