Was it ever opened? The main concern with nitro is that it absorbs moisture once its been opened. If you kept it sealed (tightly) and it was in a climate controlled area indoors I'd try it. I've gotten by on year old nitro in my planes that was stored inside.

Well, since I built a 94 worlds car when I was 14, hardly ran it, kept it virtually perfect for 19 years and kept the box and manuals too.... .. I'd say, collector. Although, I just bought 2 goldpans I'd like to run at my local track

Thanks for the ideas, guys. I went ahead and drilled the chassis, moved the cup forward, and cut the tabs off the rear of the steering servo. If this weren't a beater with "speed holes" added I'd just use servo tape, but it is what it is. Worked out well, even without the battery strap it ...

Are the eBay yokomo's decent? I bought one sheet earlier today but don't expect to see it for a few weeks. I'm over half way there, but the decal hunt continues...
