Re: Better Bandit-ing with 3D printing?
Did the holes line up on the wing mounts, or did you have to drill new ones?

Re: Traxxas Graupner Radicator 2
How much modification was needed to be done to the chassis to get everything to mount up? Any pics?

Re: A NOS/Mod SRT Build
Here's the finished product. Found a Nitro Sport body that didn't have the venting cut out so I was able to mount it up. Looks much better than the T3 body. Went with a box-inspired paint job. Looks decent, but still had some bleeding issues. http://i484.photobucket.com/albums/rr210/MetalMilitia206/...

Re: A NOS/Mod SRT Build
Got the tires mounted up and mocked up a T3 body. Looks like it will fit pretty well! http://i484.photobucket.com/albums/rr210/MetalMilitia206/SRT/1073B271-1F2D-40E4-9A31-45528420A054_zpsw1jkr5k1.jpg http://i484.photobucket.com/albums/rr210/MetalMilitia206/SRT/B973719B-C4B2-4415-995C-42B2A441FEF9_zp...

Re: A NOS/Mod SRT Build
So most of the assembly is complete. Now just need to pick out some power and a speed control, and do final tweaks. Nevermind the messy workspace lol http://i484.photobucket.com/albums/rr210/MetalMilitia206/SRT/1C25CB29-CC36-43C5-B635-B58E51FB73D5_zpswnbz3h8u.jpg http://i484.photobucket.com/albums/r...

Re: A NOS/Mod SRT Build
I was actually able to find that in the BST on this site. Lots of vintage guys on here that are very helpful. Got the front end together. She is coming together nicely! http://i484.photobucket.com/albums/rr210/MetalMilitia206/SRT/D37F844D-2922-431F-AA17-DC0E38CEFDC2_zpslnht1r7p.jpg http://i484.photo...

Re: A NOS/Mod SRT Build
Haha I'll give you the feathers joke. Rod ends are stock ones from the new aluminum links. They are one of the only "new" parts that I'm using. And yes, the motor guard made it on there. It was added before I attached the gearbox to the chassis.

Re: A NOS/Mod SRT Build
Minor update. Got the gearbox and rear a-arms mounted up. Had to grind down the rear mount on the arms a little bit so they would move freely. Sorry for the dark pics. http://i484.photobucket.com/albums/rr210/MetalMilitia206/SRT/0A0296C8-A762-4D1E-9D1C-8F818E1FFF55_zps723wcccf.jpg http://i484.photob...

Re: A NOS/Mod SRT Build
Got the transmission finished up. Had to grind down a few of the screws that came with the RC Screwz set which was a pain, but it looks pretty good all together now. http://i484.photobucket.com/albums/rr210/MetalMilitia206/SRT/1A9F6B83-FCF4-4C63-A75D-DD6C9346EE9D_zpss85uuyoc.jpg http://i484.photobuc...

A NOS/Mod SRT Build
Hey guys. So I have amassed enough parts to build myself an SRT from scratch with a few mods here and there. See the "all parts" picture below: http://i484.photobucket.com/albums/rr210/MetalMilitia206/SRT/6146136C-3456-4C4D-B203-73DA5239461A_zpsyglbvcyp.jpg Finished up my first Pro-ball di...

And finally some body-on shots. It's a box-art inspired paint job. http://i484.photobucket.com/albums/rr210/MetalMilitia206/RC10/Worlds%20Car/A0F3993D-2E97-4D9B-91B0-A5F363DF10C1_zpszibkmal7.jpg http://i484.photobucket.com/albums/rr210/MetalMilitia206/RC10/Worlds%20Car/F57E2054-FD2A-4B26-8A82-8BE027...

Here it is in running gear. Pro-Line Hole Shots on the rear. Novak Edge/17.5T Ballistic Combo. And Savox SC-0253MG Servo. Laying down some paint today. Hope to have more pics later! http://i484.photobucket.com/albums/rr210/MetalMilitia206/RC10/Worlds%20Car/F9249AA1-5F86-49BC-AD17-7520EF5F5FAB_zpstmy...

This is a bad-a** looking buggy. I love the color scheme on it!
