Re: 10t and T2 box art
HI All, can anyone recommend a blue paint color and red paint color that might best match the box art RC10t? Thanks!

Re: Atari's RC10T Ad Replica Paint Job
Nice paint job! I'm going to follow your instructions pretty closely. I'm exploring doing the same thing as my original RC10T body is on it's last leg.
Curious what paint you used for the red and blue colors? Looking for the closest red and blue from the original box art.
Thanks!

Preventing an RC10T3 from literally flying off the ground...
I have completed a total restoration of a RC10T3 Team Truck. This includes a lipo setup running a 13T EZRun brushless. It's awesome. I feel like the truck is well tuned and it's super fast and incredibly fun. The problem I'm having is keeping it planted on the ground. It literally picks off the grou...

Very good idea! I just did the exact same thing right at my connectors. Thanks again!

Sixtysixdeuce - Thanks for spotting that. I didn't think about that! Today I put liquid electric tape on those to cover up the brass. Glad you saw that!

Re: Brushless/Lipo System Recommendations? (For T3)
Almost done with the T3 restoration with brushless/lipo. Waiting on a few small items to arrive by mail but pretty much there. What does everyone recommend for front tires? (the slicks are what it came with) Ran it today, indoors, there 18 inches of snow outside :( and wow, it's really fun. VERY dif...

Re: Brushless/Lipo System Recommendations? (For T3)
Hi All! I ended up going with a EZRUN 60A 13T Brushless combo. I've ordered that and a few new parts for my new T3 runner and I'm looking forward to my first brushless go around soon.
Thanks for everyone's thoughts!

Brushless/Lipo System Recommendations? (For T3)
Sixtysixduece made a recommendation on another thread to check out this combo: HOBBYWING EZRUN 13T 3000KV RC Model Brushless Motor & WP60 60A ESC I did some research and this seems like this EZRUN is a solid system for a T3, and my "entry level" applications. I was looking at more powe...

Re: New Here, My original RC10T Resto!
Any recommendations for an entry level brushless system for a T3? I'll be running the truck off road mostly. Definitely not racing, just casual fun. Water resistant would be ideal. Right now I'm looking at the very affordable Turnigy 5200 sensor less combo. I'm concerned it could be a bit cheapy tho...

Re: New Here, My original RC10T Resto!
Thanks again for everyone's thoughts! I had such a blast with this restoration that I just bought a t3 roller off eBay! I'm going brushless with this t3 and doing a complete restoration. The guy I purchased the t3 took good care of it and it appears to be a solid roller. i will document that resto a...

Re: Tire Recommendations? (10T and T3)
I just took my RC10T out on snow plowed streets (in 4 degrees!) with the stock wheels and wow, what a mess. It'd hit about 15-20 mph and would spin about four times. My tires are very unmatched for the snow! (or really any remotely slick surface) I took out my RC10T for the first time in 17 years (!...

Tire Recommendations? (10T and T3)
I am considering getting new tires for my recently restored 10T and an upcoming restoration of a T3. The use for both trucks will be multipurpose, no racing. I'll be running on the streets and in the backyard which is a mix of grass and a lot of pine needles. The 10T is a brushed setup. The T3 will ...

Re: New Here, My original RC10T Resto!
Thanks all for checking my build out and your replies! I actually decided against a brushless upgrade at this time because my daughter is so young and I want her to learn how to drive this. Did some calculations and when I get the new ESC, pinion and spur gears in there it still will hit 30mph. I'd ...

New Here, My original RC10T Resto!
Hello! I just joined this forum after browsing it over the past month. I haven't touched the RC hobby for 17 years, and pretty much everything I knew back then has escaped my mind, so I am pretty much a newbie. On this forum gathered a lot of great info and it essentially became my instruction guide...
