all good points..
i did spend a bit fixing up pulleys and belts but the car just didn't do anything for me.. might box it up for a rainy day.. the tekin g10 be probably more sort after..lol

Hi guys and girls, i got my hands on a YR-4M2 car with heaps of spares.. the car itself has a few alu upgrade parts and is probably a 7/10 car.. there are no wheels nor body.. other than this i dont really know much about these cars as i'm a kyosho person.. are these a sort after car or just put it ...

i just discussed this with my insurance company last week. i had to declare them as a hobby/collectable under my household contents insurance.. i had to put a rough value on them but not individual.. was told to have various photos of each car and particulars detailed. although i have under estimate...

thanks for your reply's.. i'm glad for peoples opinions and i can't not agree i will be keeping a eye out to see what pops up as original.. would love to keep it that way.. the chassis rails are the things i need most of all.. the rest can be added as i collect them.. have already purchased a new sp...

Ok so i finally got my hands a Kyosho Tomahawk to restore.. and yes only to find out that they have announced a rere of it 1 day after i bought it..lol So it all started tonight, opened the original box to inspect the damage..lol I knew it was going to be a little rough as the previous owner had fit...

i have been looking for one for months and finally bought one on monday to restore...it arived in the post today and now i see this..
one question i have though is i have just stripped mine down and it does have a gear diff.. was that normal??

Hello, no the wheels are actually normal mid wheels dyed purple with the inner edge cut off (before I got the car.)

Well I had a optima as a kid when I raced. First real race car after my hornet. Really enjoyed the car as it was ultra competative at the time. Once I got hooked on Rv car again 3 odd years ago I started looking at them more. Internet is a evil thing. All those cool toys I could never have as a kid....

ok have a question about the wing..
i tracked down a TBG repo body so thats all cool.. but wing wise i cant find anything.. i have a busted base for the wing but have no idea on the side panel dimensions..
if anyone has one they can measure it would be much appreciated..

ok found this on ebay.. the chassis looks similar to a optima mid and looks to be based that way but have never seen a car like it...
got me hunting but no luck working it out...
