Go for the RPM long rod ends in black. I believe you can also still find the Losi ones, but in black. Grey will set you back a bunch if you can even find them.

Okay, did a electronics refresh.

New Tekin G12c III and new Novak Mercury.

Also swapped out the bowtie tires for Team Losi IFMAR Pins (I believe).

I just purchased a more period correct Tekin ESC (G-12c III) and will probably change out the receiver to something else, maybe a Novak Mercury.

Other than that, the body will be painted and it should be done!

Not sure about the tapered wheel wells, but I can see what you are saying. Maybe try them but at less of an angle? How are the current trucks cut out - is it worth looking for inspiration there? Thanks! I've done a couple, but I'm not good enough to do this kinda work lol. I've been having a local guy do my bodies.
