Andys arms shock setup changes
Evening all. I have upgraded my 6-gear rc10 to the andys wide arm setup, still using the small shocks. I am running 35wt oil and A silver short spring with the kit piston. I am running the standard shock tower (one position) The problem is that the shocks seems to be much softer now and they collaps...

Re: No lube on 6-gear diff thrust bearing?
I've found that the original manual is much better in telling you how to get the diff set up properly. I followed the original manual and my diff performs much better

Re: No international shipping.
Being in the UK that's a shame, but understandable.
I was going to order one of your thick rc10t shells but the shipping charges have become much more expensive on everything for those of us on the other side of the pond.

Re: Turnigy Trackstar 80A Runaway
I'm going to say run it with lipo if you can switch. As some others it's likely that the battery you have can't deliver the current demanded by the motor. The stock settings have the punch quite high and nimh cells are never going to reach even basic lipo 'c' levels. If you were to stick with nimh I...

Re: Monster beetle
Yeah as recommended get the ball diff if you can. You can then run all sorts of motors through it. the main issue to watch out for is a slipping/grinding sound when you accelerate hard or floor the throttle. The gear diff starts to separate under power and the gears slip. Oh and enjoy the hilarious ...

My ultima pro
I present to you my original ultima pro. This was bought off ebay last year as birthday present to myself to give me a large dose of nostalgia. I raced one as a kid back in 91-94 when everybody else had Schumacher cougars and rc10s. I had to replace the front bulkhead and somewhere along the road a ...

What wheels/tyres are these?
Hi all, I have a set of truck tyres that came in a bundle of stuff. They are 2.2 rims with what looks like a stagger rib pattern tyre. The truck tyres are the same size as regular stadium truck tyres, just half the width. The wheels take a flanged bearing like the gold pan rc10 buggies There is no l...

Dynotech klien arms
Hi all, Question about the klien Arms that are commonly used as rpm replacements. Do they work with. 71 shocks and the standard rc10cw shock tower? I have a truck nose and some spare. 71 shocks, but don't have the longer travel versions, would this work? Also with the rears, can you just run them wi...

Re: Vintage RC market predictions -
anything associated rc10 is just going up and up in the UK. even bits lots of parts. like others have said, over here because of lockdown everyone got into building/restoring projects. my local club in the south east of England has a strong vintage class, plenty of people have just been buying up wh...

Question about original RC10T
Hi there, I have an original rc10t that I have been preparingfor vintage racing. I noticed that it comes with 4.5 degrees of toe in on both sides. This seems a lot to me, is there any reason why they decided to put so much toe in on it? What sort of tracks was it designed for when it came out. Also,...

Re: White arm GT
i have been slowly swapping all the white parts (that fit) from my rc10 team truck onto my GT. i think it just looks nicer with the white parts. the team truck arms , if you can find them, are pretty solid too!
