Re: Johnboy's Purple Racer

I'm starting to fall in love with the purple. Where are those anodized chassis from ?

Re: New super blackfoot

Nice pick, my brother had one and it kindled my interest. Here's a interesting guide by TAZ-NZ on the tamiya forums that helps address realibilty issues.

Re: A&L RC10T BUILD

Very nice build, great choice on the body color theme. What does it cost to have a custom painted body by Andy ?

Very awesome build, your carbon working skills are stunning. How thick was the end results of your chassis ?

Re: RC10 graphite

I don't thnk your wasting any type of resources by restoring your old graphite chassis. It's super fun to hunt for parts and build them up exactly the way you want. You get a sense of accomplishment when you're done and maybe you'll even get to inspire someone else to do the same. Good luck and reme...

Re: Transmission help

If you're set on a stealth trans I say drill holes in your chassis to support it. There's an associated drill guide or if you have a stealth ready chassis you could use that as a template. Lol I've read tons of threads on here about drilling into chassis and one of them actually helped talk me out o...

Re: RC10 Factory Works MIP 93' Worlds Racer Restoration

I also just read through this year and a half adventure, and I must say this is by far the most favorite project I've read about. Thanks for sharing and I can only hope to have such an epic restoration one day.

Re: Comp Craft Wide nose

Is that chassis wider then a normal RC10 front end ? And if it is I'm guessing you need a matching front shock tower ?

Re: Another Vintage Team Car back in action

Welcome back to the madness, my friends and I just recently got back into the hobby and we all got some speed passions 3500KV brushless motors and the stealth transmission holds up just fine for us. The esc/combo was $49 shipped so it wont break the bank either.

Re: Racer's, lets talk about the new breeds of 2wd buggies..

I'm eagerly awaiting the release of the B5m factory lite, I want to get this buggy off the title alone. Just something about a lightweight kit straight from the manufacture seems appealing. The one down fall is the smaller type batteries this buggy requires are pretty expensive.

Re: Help needed, new to Yokomo

Thank you guys for the insight, sounds like the 870c is a great starting point. Are there any other good places to find cars besides eBay ? I've been looking for awhile and only seen 1. On a side note I was able to score this Fibre-Lyte chassis from my LHS yesterday.
