Re: Schumacher Cat SX3 - Shiny version again
More work on this trashy model ... I started to look into certain parts and it's not easy (it's also what you want when buying models to renovate;) like removing the bearings from their housings and starting to clean certain parts. I don't have many photos, but some bearings have rusted in their loc...

Mocked up gearboxes, belt and modified MK11 Stinger alloy bellcranks.
I've ordered some 5x10x4mm flanged bearings for the bellcranks.

Losi XX Modern Racer build
I'm planning this to be my last XX build. It will be a very clean racer with modern electronics. No blue bits. All silver and black. I'm using the L length chassis, which is longer than the regular buggy length. I did this on one of my other XX builds, and I really like it. It should put the wheelba...

Re: Losi XX WOIN Racer build
Electronics and wiring are done. Sensor wire is only thing missing still. I did all I could to keep the wiring as hidden and clean as possible. All electronics sit as low as they can. It took a lot of modification to lots of pieces to get to this layout.

Re: Losi XX WOIN Racer build
I rewired the motor wires in an attempt to hide the wires further. I am relatively happy with the result, however I used a different wire this time, and the sheathing near the motor solder joints burned. Therefore, it doesn't look as clean as it should. I got the shocks and links built and installed...

Re: 870 "custom"
The last piece of the puzzle arrived this week. Got a chance to rough cut the body tonight, and have it sitting nicely. I had to shorten/re-solder the motor wires, quite tight in this area. Got the rear tower done last week too, and took it for a little spin. With Just a few small adjustments on the...

Re: Pro tip #6636
If my tool chest wasn’t already in storage I’d have some graphite ready to roll. Luckily I’m still going through my rc stuff as it’s the most difficult to sort and subsequently part with.
