I’ve collected most parts for a long arm DPRC build but we have some discussion on those topics going already and I’ll get...

Re: Finally found a Triumph

Slow process, got up to fitting radio, but had the usual quandry over period correct radio, vs modern small footprint and reliability.
Turns out i didnt have a grunty enough old school esc to power the lrp, so modern stuff prevailed.
So easy to fit though.

Re: Double X CR modern racer

Haven't updated in a while... kinda regretting not going to Hoosier about now. Still running the XX CR regularly, the DPRC T plate has been running flawlessly, really liking the 2.61 tranny in the buggy. Added a BK front tower, battery strap, threaded shocks and that's it so far.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

I keep hearing great things about Fan RC, and I couldn't resist their blue edition kit. I'm adding in the forged carbon chassis and towers.

Re: Losi Double XT CR Modern Racer

Screenshot_20250427_194133_Gallery.jpg Shakedown run today. Truck is really really good. Didn't have to do anything from my baseline setup be turning high 12s laps (the 13.5 modern trucks are hitting high 11's) zero issues, zero broken parts. The track was very dry today, even after watering it the...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

Robbed the parts bins and found enough parts to throw together a basher to test out the TPS style transmission. The trans held up well! Blew through a set of foams in a couple packs

Re: Xxt cvd identification help

Those are 1993 era CVD's, prone to failure at the pin hole, later versions had the bottom of the "bell" thickened so there was way less wear- the heat treatment wasn't perfect either, so most weren't super black. Oddly....their aluminum CVD's always retained this design....and we're prone ...
