Shocks built using SRS cartridges and MIP internals. The internals are held in by a snap ring. I'm not sure on shock spring color. Slow process, got up to fitting radio, but had the usual quandry over period correct radio, vs modern small footprint and reliability.
Turns out i didnt have a grunty enough old school esc to power the lrp, so modern stuff prevailed.
So easy to fit though.

I'd like to ask how the screw heads all get aligned like that, but I don't want to know the real answer. It's kind of like 'you should never meet your heroes'. I'll just go with having the superhuman ability to always start screws of identical length at the same clocking, and knowing how to adjust ...

Turned out super clean. I love the black wheels with white lettering. Real nice Clark! I mainly ran black wheels back in the day, and always wondered why it never took off. So many yellow wheels.

And the restoration is complete. Had a horrible paint experience with my paints going bad but I consider it good enough.

I couldn’t find new old stock rear wheels so I printed up a matching set.
