Re: Abandoned JRX2

Did the motor have a letter scribed on the end? Sometimes the first letter on the model name is on the shaft end of the can. It has the number 323 engraved in the shaft end. I couldn't find a reference to the number, so I pulled it apart and can see it is a double wind. Of course, I can't count the...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

Felt left out of the club when Ed scored a Pit Wizard. That and I now have half dozen various Cyclone esc's.

Re: Losi JRX Pro SE build

Your builds are just on another level. I mean all those NIP parts  Like how? lol. I come back all the time and look through your gallery.

Re: Losi JRX Pro SE build

Shocks built using SRS cartridges and MIP internals. The internals are held in by a snap ring. I'm not sure on shock spring color. I had sourced front and rear shock sprinks in black, for a cleaner look. However colored springs just seem to suite an SE. Factory was green front and red rear if that ...

Re: Finally found a Triumph

Slow process, got up to fitting radio, but had the usual quandry over period correct radio, vs modern small footprint and reliability.
Turns out i didnt have a grunty enough old school esc to power the lrp, so modern stuff prevailed.
So easy to fit though.

Re: Losi JRX Pro SE build

I'd like to ask how the screw heads all get aligned like that, but I don't want to know the real answer. It's kind of like 'you should never meet your heroes'. I'll just go with having the superhuman ability to always start screws of identical length at the same clocking, and knowing how to adjust ...

Re: Losi JRX Pro SE build

Turned out super clean. I love the black wheels with white lettering. Real nice Clark! I mainly ran black wheels back in the day, and always wondered why it never took off. So many yellow wheels.

Re: Losi XXT Restoration Project

And the restoration is complete. Had a horrible paint experience with my paints going bad but I consider it good enough.

I couldn’t find new old stock rear wheels so I printed up a matching set.

Re: Jrx Pro of my youth

Sweet build! Thanks! I'm patting 12 year old me on the back. Had a few minutes at the bench today. Bulkheads mounted with a new bumper. 20250309_145854.jpg New steering posts. 20250309_150445.jpg I found a correct "wide" steering rack in the parts stash and mounted the battery h...

Factory Works Ten4.1

I’m glad I purchased a kit from Jeff when I had a chance. It’s been stashed since September-24, but with the current situation there’s no excuse not to build. Initially I was going for a MIP Legends feel with a powder coated chassis, but now I’m just going with a gold pan. Haven’t decided how to ori...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

Well it was more my wife but we finally got around to doing some sublimation prints and they turned out ok! Pretty amazing technology. This really opens up some possibilities 😅

Re: Losi JRX Pro SE build

These Jammin wing cam locs are some uber rare pieces. I think they would be a great fit for this build. However, I'm not sure if I can make myself open them. They are my only pair. Now I finally know what they are! I got a used set in a parts lot I got a long time ago. Never seen white ones anywher...

Re: Losi JRX Pro SE build

I printed a few sets for a member a few years ago. I thought they were standard Losi parts, not Jammin Jay parts. Very interesting.

It's a pretty good deepfake as it's not a real SRT  looks good with the cut up gearbox and the Sonic
