Re: RC10GT Blue Pan converted to brushless lipo

I don't own a T5M so I can't comment there. I did not use a kit for my conversion. I used 3M molding adhesive lol! I cant think of what a "kit" would include. A motor plate? Electronics? The motor adapter you can make from just about anything. Here is a raw aluminum tub GT-e with a T-4 mot...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - April 2021 ** Winner - TheDiamondOne

I don’t think I’ve ever submitted a build. Here is my most recent one. A RC10GT2 I converted to a SC10GT-e I built my own chassis out of 1/8” 7075 aluminum. It’s lengthened 43mm, converted to electric, converted to hex, RPM front sc10 bumper, rear SC10GT bumper, prosc10 nerf bars, factory team chass...

He really wanted my SC10gte so I bought him a slash 2wd and we bash around together. Its great. I hope to get back into more custom builds with him helping real so...

The cheapest 1/8 scale buggy wheels

I did a search by the cheapest 1/8 buggy wheels to bash around on at my local clay track. The ones that came up were yellow BMW e36 DS1’s. I had 3 E36 M3’s. So I had to get them and paint them with actual aluminum wheel silver metal flake paint. Now I need to have some center caps 3D printed with BM...

Re: 1/1 Wild One Max

I saw they put double wishbone A-Arms under the front end. It’s similar but now it’s a 2 seater with completely different suspension. I have a 4 seat sand car with a double beam mid travel front end on it. The swinging away and back that the axle does is what makes it take such abuse off road and gi...

I personally love a decent vw beam suspension. You just can’t kill it.

Ruined GT paint - attempt to fix

I received this is body so very long ago when I bought some cars off Craigslist. I can’t remember how long I’ve had this body, at least 10 years. I was tired of looking at it in its state so I decided to paint it. Previous owner attempted to strip paint off and left it pink. So I masked the windows....

O rings in out drives - why not springs?

I have always run o rings but in my high speed GT2 I installed springs to remove any slop in the bones back in 2017. CVD pins will not hold over 80mph even with super glue red loctite, and a heat shrink boot. The pins leave the bone and cut the rear arms off at the knuckles. So dog bones it’s been. ...
