Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)

Re: The OS CZZ is back together, but will it run?
Yes, yes it will. Got it fired off for the first time. It ran horrible, but it moved. Accelerated, braked, steered. Got up to temp and seemed fine. The previous owner tells me it's the first time this car has moved in 17-20 years. It's kind of incredible to me, after seeing what condition it was in ...

Tamiya Super Champ rebuild
So I picked up a couple vintage super champ buggies recently and decided to use the best off of both for one nice rebuild. The one in these photos was definitely the better of the two and the one for the bassis of the build. I kept a couple things off the other one but not much.

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)
I am not sure how much my wife paid for this tug toy for one of the dog's Christmas stockings, but the fact that it makes each of us laugh every time we see it 3+ months later, makes it easily one of the best investments we have ever made! :D It is always moving, so surprises us every time! edit jus...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - April 2024 ** - Winner - kcrisalli
Posting up a cool oddball this month, an early eghties Kyosho Toyota Hilux. You could get three versions of this platform, the Sand Skipper, VW Baja Bug and the Toyota Hilux. Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
It's a little smaller looking than a 1/10 but that's what it was considered. Very light, and the chassis is quite fragile. I actually didn't need another one- I have one in kit form that was missing the box. Now I have a complete kit in the box and one for the shelf haha. I do have the "drive t...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Here is my Mercedes, which is missing some of the small pieces. I did round up the chrome kit for it, but still missing the lenses.
I don't think it would be a hard model to make at all, it's very simple. I just don't think it would be very popular either.

Re: 2014 Kyosho Beetle
I'm missing the Rx for both the Kyosho and Tamiya, ordered them both a while ago and those are the last thing that hasn't shown up. The motor and the front chrome wheels should be here tomorrow. Like where the battery box is located on the Kyosho. https://i.imgur.com/B77W6Lp.jpg https://i.imgur.com/...

Re: Kyosho 30615 - Tomahawk
I've been procrastinating a lot on this. Paintjob requires two things : paint, and good weather. Today was the day :-) I have two bodyshells. I only took care of one of them today. The second will be more complex in terms of design, and would not rely on most of the stickers... For the first one, I ...
