Re: Another Meteor
That is a good looking stance. Having an 'experienced' body on it doesn't detract from the overall good looks.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
I got into Mini-Zs this was probably a mistake, because now i keep printing bodies and I haven't even raced the car yet.

My tamiya collection
Ok. I have been a Tamiya collector for a long time. I got my first car, the Grasshopper 2, in 87.
Life and a marriage implosion got in the way a few times but I have always come back.
Here are some pics I took.

Re: My tamiya collection
My Samsung phone allows you to simply resize the image. 80% usually works fine.

Re: Inter-Fab Viper EX-10
I can weigh in on this issue of printing on clear sticker paper as well. I had terrible results too, as morrisey0 said. The colored/red areas were too transparent and became almost invisible when applied to a dark painted body. I got much better results making my own sticker images with a black back...

Re: Tamiya Tyrrell P34 6-Wheeler - 1977 Argentine GP - 2022 Reissue
Thanks for the visor tips, that's definitely a great idea! Peterson's visor is the hard part to replicate, if the boxart is strictly adhered to, it has the sun visor portion. I've seen a pic of someone having done that properly, and the jacket in cloth too. https://i.imgur.com/n1HJgpb.jpg Depailler ...

Those goggles are ace ! Etsy is full of these, in Steam Punk, and about every other style you can think of: miniature 1:10 scale goggles - and then clicking on images - got me those goggles above, and led me to Etsy. Most seem to be made for 1/6, 1/12, or 1/18. 1/10 seems to be missing unfortunatel...

Re: “aftermarket” RC10 gold chassis pan
I find nothing wrong with offering replacement parts.
If they are made using tooling that AE owns and without their permission, then obviously that's a problem.

Re: The dog thread
After being without a dog for nearly two years (accident), we brought this one home yesterday.
He is a 20 month old Dane that was surrendered to the Humaine Society. He is still on the skinny side but is much better than when they received him.

Re: Vintage Edinger motor stopped working
Those brushes are shot. There probably isn't any spring tension on them.
