Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - September 2024 ** - Winner - RC10th
Mines a small entry, and I mean really small. IMG_20240910_082337375_HDR.jpg IMG_20240910_082510939_HDR.jpg This is my NRC K24, a 1/24 scale Ultima Pro Replica with a lexan wing by Jason Cooper, paintwork by Dominator Airbrushing and custom mini 5 spokes by me. Really fun to drive, if not a bit over...

Re: Factory Works Ten4.1 project
What are those awesome front tires? They are pretty cool aren't they? I really wanted to keep narrow fronts and original style wheels for a stock looking appearance while doing the 4wd conversion. They are printed tires from mciracing.ca and they are awesome. They're my first time handling or seein...

Pb racing pb10
I found this pb10 awhile ago, thought I’d share. I have the engine for it somewhere. The seller said he was going to build a ‘79 Phil booth rep. I noticed the rear axle was an upgrade. The engine is supposed to be the same for the replica. I don’t know much about it but it’s cool as heck. I’m not su...

Re: Marui Hunter - My first buggy... Found one to restore :-) - and a Galaxy RS too :)
The diff is in place... This is my own diff, not the original one. The original one would be usable as well. https://i.imgur.com/oVrq8ap.jpeg Then I close the bottom face of the gearbox... And forgot to take a picture :) Next was the idle gear. I have the custom diff, so this is custom idle gear. It...

Re: TAG Navajo (Pro)
Diff cleaned and ready for reassembly. If you're familiar with Coyotes and Pro 10s you'll recognise the parts. The machined diff sleeve will stop the Tamiya AW grease from being flung out at speed.
Back together with new bearings.

Re: TAG Navajo (Pro)
I reckon it'll be even bigger than this year's Bash. I'll have to bring the Navajo. I know you want to see it.

Re: The dog thread
There isn't much that brings the K9s and Felines together to one spot, but freshly made chocolate chip cookies will do the trick! To clarify: The animals all showed up because of the smells of the cookies ............. not because they were getting cookies. We just happened to notice that all the pe...

Re: Just a Rocky Project (Formerly "My Kyosho Developed Yokomo Envy")
I've had a lot of other things taking my time, lately, but RC projects occasionally pop in my mind. With this project I was stuck on what to do for a wing. I would have liked to to a YZ10 style mount on the shock tower to nod to the original intent but there wasn't really an option of doing that wit...

a few tear down pics of the rere 834b
Couple pics of the 834b rere. The rear mono shock portion is a bolt on and has adjustable down travel limiters, and is bearing supported. The rear stabilizer bolts to a fairly original looking support but they drilled a couple holes for setscrews. The parts are mostly compatible-ish, but all 4mm hol...
