Re: RC10 B1 Mid Motor Laydown Buggy
No runs yet. Need to wedge this ESC in there somewhere. If I had stayed with a brushed motor I could have easily fit the electronics but I got this deal on the brushless and I had a coupon.

Doesn't that partially defeat the purpose of moving the motor forward?Frankentruck wrote: ↑Wed Mar 05, 2025 6:24 pm
Or, I could put it on a shelf back where a motor used to be...

Re: PB Mini Mustang and Maxima Belts
I recently ordered a few (10) from the supplier I get my Ten4 belts from. I wasn't paying attention, I actually needed the coarse belts but got fine belts. They are 318 tooth 4.7mm wide mxl. If anyone in the usa wants to try them and see if they like them, I'm happy to send out a couple. Probably no...

Finally got my hands on a Hot Trick/Red Prince chassis that I have been searching for years
ASK AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE! I have been looking for these rare parts for a while now. The Reedy Flash Modified Motor, Tekin 610 esc and Thorp dog bones was a bit of a challenge, but the Hot Trick Red Prince is what took me years to find. Only twice have I ever seen them pop up on eBay, and I lost bot...

Unboxing a Legend: Schumacher XLS Cat "T403" 1987 4WD World Champion Original Replica with Manual
The thrill of a vintage unboxing never gets old. No, this isn’t the 2017 re-release of the XLS Masami—this is the real deal, the original commemorative 4WD production kit by Schumacher, released after their iconic 4WD victory at the 1987 IFMAR Worlds in England. Thank you for guiding me about this e...

Re: Optima Mid Turbo LWB Custom special Conversion
Wasn't sure if the front gearbox was the same as the rere, appreciate the rear id different due to the belt tensioner. It isn't, the rerelease uses different size bearings on the diffs. In theory you can use rerelease the front gearbox case, but you will have to get a pair of 8x15x4 bearings to rep...

Re: Custom Fabricated Train - Serious Machine work
Hmmm. I haven't been out that way in a few years (I had two train obsessed kids), but I don't recall seeing that on display. The museum is impressive, even if you aren't into railroads.
Thank you for posting his work. That is an impressive feat of engineering and machining.

Re: Optima Mid Turbo LWB Custom special Conversion
First off nice build. And I do really like the Custom special's look, the upgrade graphite chassis is really nice and no platinum shocks. You may be too far along or are satisfied with your repair but... When I built my front diff on my TOMSE I did use a new front housing. I could not find a bearing...
