Re: Grasshopper 2 or Hornet

Judging from the rear body mounts, I'd say its a Hornet with a Grasshopper body. The front wheels appear to be from a fox and have tamiya super gripper tires. The rear tires are standard Hornet tires. Both the Grasshopper and Hornet came with the nerf bars. The Hornet and Grasshopper share the same ...

Very nice work!! I've just pulled a couple examples and the rere bumper is actually a little smaller than the original version. Of course, it will still fit but I'm surprised that it isn't an exact copy. Anyway, nearly every other molded rere part is same as original - the transmission cases being t...

Re: 1989 Kyosho Casablanca Tunnel Boat

Vintage boats are definitely welcomed here. I've always loved the look and name of this one. Very futuristic. 8)

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread

Looks like a kyosho optima rear end, and a mid front gearbox, belt conversion? Not sure about the arms, out drives look like early YZ-10? But steering uprights and steering knuckles are Kyosho optima /mid era. Anyone else? Thanks, the part on the front gearbox that was throwing me off was the reces...

Re: Your favorite ESC (with photo)

This was one of my favorites, hardly any information out there about them.

I could be wrong but from memory it was the smallest ESC of the time and pre-dates the Novak Atom.
