Re: Clonewald GFG-10
The rear axles will have to wait. I'm short a couple of flanged bearings. My black front arms turned out to be a mismatched set with one inline so a NOS set is off to get hydrated. In the mean time a few more choice Factory Works items are being added in. . PXL_20230402_002823068.jpg . PXL_20230402_...

Enjoy the unboxing pictures of the RC10FX "Special". This recently became part of my Team Associated buggy lineup. This buggy is marketed in their Yokomo General Import Distributor for Team Associated brochure as having (in Japanese), "...almost the same specifications as the Team Car...

Re: master of rc auto racing 155 card set 1992
These cards are awesome..I never knew they existed. https://www.rc10talk.com/download/file.php?id=162181&mode=view I used to race at American-Trac 1991-92. It was in Mattoon, IL amongst the farm fields and the hobby shop was in the basement of their house. They had a great off-road track too. W...

Re: master of rc auto racing 155 card set 1992
Upon further detective work, I think I found the address!! 8567 E County Rd 550 N, Mattoon, IL 61938 People with the same last name as the original owner are still attached to the location. Using Google Maps, there's what could possibly be an extremely faint outline of a tri-oval in the field behind...

Re: Turbo Optima mid SE
After a few hours of buffing and cleaning the chassis went into the ano tank, the dye tank and into the sealant tank. Then it got a thorough cleaning and a light coat of WD40. Although the pics don't show how the anodizing really looks, I'm pretty darn happy with the results. I took a completely dif...

Re: 3D Sets Landy Build
Lucas, prince of darkness! You know why the British drink warm beer? :D So, when I got into this, I was going to print and assemble this in the prescribed steps per the manual, opposed to how I have seen them built on YT with printing it all and then starting assembly. BUT, life, work, time, ...

Time to start the build finally. Going good so far. These pics show the chassis anodizing way better than the previous pics. The pics above were taken outdoors under cloudy skies and it is usually a good time to shoot shiny objects. Not so much with those pics. optima46.JPG optima44.JPG Chuck

Re: Turbo Optima mid SE
Cold and rainy today. Great day to get on with the build. Tried to mount a Savox servo but the orange name plate was just too much so I went with a black Futaba. Really like the way the servo arm turned out. I even went ahead and mounted the servo saver on the correct side  optima49.JPG optima...

Re: Turnbuckles
They very much resemble Tecnacraft Ti turnbuckles, and that to me is AWESOME ! Never seen them before so thank you 8) My pleasure, and I agree. They have that sort-of darker hue like titanium....but only $3 a pair. I'll rock fake titanium every day of the week. My only complaint is the slightly inc...

Memo to self- Always check your electronics before installing in your car! After spending a lot of time getting the wiring trimmed, replaced, terminated and routed, I found the Novak1 was dead  So I got to install an esc twice. I did have a super clean Novak T4 that is a slightly larger than t...
