Re: What Type Of Nylon Is Used On AE Vehicles?
Subject kinda says it all. Are we talking 6, 6/6, 6/9, 4, 12, etc etc etc? Thanks I asked Richard Royal of RPM about the nylon and this is what he told me Basically AE is using a modified 6/6 with additives for durability. The difference in additives is the difference between RPM and AE 6/6 PA. At ...

Same size as the stealth outdrive bearing.THEYTOOKMYTHUMB wrote: ↑Sat Dec 28, 2024 9:46 pm I'm sorry for being so lazy but does anyone have a link for the bearing I need for this? I thought I'd start a new thread to disguise my laziness and maybe make a spot for general parts questions.

Re: Built Or Bought
How about you though? If your local racing class didn't prohibit modifications, do you believe a winning car should be bought from a box, or built from experience? Happy New Years ! I would really like to see fully kitted out rental classes. With smart radio, batteries tires and motors to help focu...

Re: Steering ball cups popping off 40th
Pretty sure this is a common problem and after coming up empty from a search thought I would ask here. Is there a readily available upgrade or solution for the steering ball cups popping off? When I tap the drain pipe its about a 50/50 if one pops off my 40th. Thanks! I recall captured ball joints ...

Re: Homebrew ESC Information
Hey Guys, A few years ago, there was an article in the forums here about how early ESC's were made with some components of a servo. I believe it was Tamiyadan that did the original thread? Anyway I have a project in front of me that I would like to build a "replica" of one of those early ...

Re: Oops, I did it again. Offerup RPM Ultramold
I cannot stop buying vintage buggies. This Ultramold popped up last night on Offerup and for $150 I could not not buy it. I mean, come on. It's freaking awesome! It also came with a box of spares including a NIB set of MIP CVDs for a goldpan and a OS .15 CVR engine. Screenshot_20250116-164402_Galle...

Re: There and gone
same size but they seem (bubblier) if that makes sense. It could have something to do with manufacturer? The original DS tires were manufactured by Proline known as " Speed Hawgs ". https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51414185596_7783c15586_c.jpg The new DS tires have the Team Associated ...

Joes b4
I finally started on this project, it was a b4 parts lot, missing rear shocks.
I picked up a set of 12mm rears when they were on eBay for not much money
Found some transmissions, but I need to disassemble it to see if if for the b4 or the b4.2/sc10

IMG_6240.jpeg I did the tie rod’s and ball cups since they were a pain. He’s still a bit young so this was all the attention he had for it today. I am constant...
