Re: Best source of parts!
Hi! Be gentle as this is one of my first posts! Where is the best place to get parts from? I am currently restoring a Gold Pan A stamp which looks like its fairly complete but I am sure there will be bits I need. Thankfully I have the tyres as they appear to have gold bullion inside them! :D G It d...

Re: New front arms.
Hi, I'm relatively new here so sorry if my vocab is bad. I recently inherited my uncles old rc10. I don't know anything about the model except that is has an aluminum chassis with an A stamp. I was tryying to get to working aging and fixing throttle issues when one of the front arm things shattered...

Re: How to clean/refurbish steel ball studs?
Seems like putting them in a drill is the way to go. I 'll avoid the sand paper and go for my brass wire wheel and some polish.
Thanks all.
Thanks all.

Re: How to clean/refurbish steel ball studs?
Replace them. The ones from Custom Works are nice, and they retain the 4-40 thread. Are you referring to these https://www.customworksrc.com/product/short-hex-drive-ball-stud/ if they fit the stock ball cups I may keep a set in my kit for spares For now I'm going to keep the stock studs. They have ...

Re: 3D Printed Stainless Steel Outdrives
Dynotech makes proper (likely better than oem) replacements for $50/pr on eBay I saw that there was one last pair. What I saw was aluminum and I have concerns about the longevity for general bashing. I may have a shelf build lined up as 3rd in my queue where that should be ok, but steel is my first...

Re: RC10 Team car restoraion
Quick story with the tires, this came with the original white wheels, not sure of the exact size but the rears were a little smaller diameter than the fronts. I am pretty sure the fronts are 1.9". The wheels were a bit scratched up and had some paint on them so I wet sanded them down at bit an...

Re: To oil a shelfer?
Apologies if this has been discussed, search didn't warrant much relevant.... what is the consensus on filling shocks for a shelf car? I have a build in mind with vintage unassembled shocks, and I'm thinking to just use a little bit of shock oil during assembly just to lubricate the o-rings, but no...

Re: What is this servo connector and where can I get a new one
The small connector pictured is the connector to match the pins Novak use on the ESC, whilst the larger connector is a standard radio receiver connector. Looks from the image like your small connector is fine, so should just be a matter of splicing / soldering on another receiver connector / lead. ...

Re: Turnigy Trackstar 80A Runaway
What you probably need is lipo battery power to cure the brown out and turn the wick down on punch . Rats. I was hoping I could keep squeaking by with trickle charging on my old Pro-Tech 706. The glitch buster will help momentarily its not a cure but it will help bigtime...................... My vi...

McMaster-Carr order substitutions for assocaited parts
hey for all of you who have done this before can you help me see if I have the right substations for this order in McMaster Carr The one I am least sure of is the carbon steel shim in place of a diff drive ring. I am also trying to figure out the right spacers to go between the o-rings in the shocks...

Re: Tire inserts Pro-Line® two-stage foam
Those are for huge crawler tires, nearly 6" OD. It's amazing. I can do google searches for an hour and not find what I am looking for. Once I post here I get sponsored ads with the part I need in my side bar of different websites. the part I was looking for was proline 6194 https://www.proline...

Re: B4 parts supplies drying up
I have a B4 RTR I bought a while back on eBay and haven't run yet. The price was perfect for a used 'modern' basher, and for a model that I figured would have future parts availability like a 2nd gen Camaro considering how long the B4 platform was Associated's main 2WD buggy. But looking around, fr...
