Re: The RC10 4wd (or how AE stole the Ten4 project)
For apples to apples, FanRC to modern TTAE, I would personally go with FanRC for anything and everything. There is some bias there as I have worked with Cheng (FanRC) quite a bit over the past couple of years, but overall from what I have seen from the parts quality aspect, his stuff is just better....

Re: The RC10 4wd (or how AE stole the Ten4 project)
There are some reasons I can't really share that make me say that the FanRC parts are also closer to the originals. Remember all of the AE parts have been retooled, these are all fresh molds so restoring a car using them vs the fan parts are really no different. He is a one man team and does very we...

Re: Corally SP10V – the sad one
Time for an update. The rubber damper caps are totally finished. They are swollen, brittle and torn. Fortunately my brother had new ones in a bag, which he kindly gave to me. :) 20250316_100808.jpg Opened up my Corally 300 modified and found it to be in very good condition. Some of the green paint o...

Re: ReRe rear dogbones popping out
The only fix you need is to put the shock on the outer hole in the arm, and add shock internal limiters to reduce droop so the bone does not disengage. You can also place the blue spacer on the axle on the inside to bias the bone inwards. Honestly guys that aren't really builders (regardless of what...

Re: MIP 4-10 rumor #63, this time maybe it's real?
Oh, if and when a 4-10 rere kit comes out I will definitely be getting one. It's what I wanted bitd but couldn't afford/missed out on. However, to save oneself from the heart ache and pain, and like everyone else, I'll be expecting wrenches and just hope for moore.......

Greetings from Maryland
Hi all, Getting back into r/c after a 30+ year hiatus. Started out with a few Sears and Radio Shack cars back in the 70s and early 80s. My first hobby grade was a Marui Samurai, quickly followed by an early Cadillac gold pan. Shopped at a little hobby shop on BelAir Rd in the Overlea area of Baltimo...

Re: What is it now Team Associated?!
So they're going to take an RTR car, change the color of some parts, remove the electronics, make it a kit and double the price?

Re: Best value in RC now
My money is on Kyosho and now Schumacher. I have the Turbo Scorpion, JJ Ultima and Optima Mid 60th anniversary and all of them were amazing to build with great fit and finish and instructions that don't lead you astray. I just recently built the Cougar 2 Works and am very impressed with the quality ...

Re: The RC10 4wd (or how AE stole the Ten4 project)
We will have Factory Works chassis braces and aluminum pulleys in a couple weeks, I think you will find them worth the wait. Don't need to be used together, but the larger pulley has more belt wrap so it slips less, and the stiffener lets you run the belt slightly looser since you don't have to acco...

T2 coming?
It appears a whole bunch of black parts are showing up on the AE site. The T2 gear cover caught my eye as well as a bunch of black GT specific parts.
