Re: RC10T2 Ebay score
OK, friends, got my wheels dyed and tires mounted up last week. The dying process was way easy to thanks to all that weighed in on that little detail.
My next question is, how do you all fit a standard sized 2S hardcase lipo in a T2?!?!- Tue May 23, 2023 2:57 pm

Re: RC10T2 Ebay score
You can remove the existing mount and use a puretech Velcro strap. It’s backed with adhesive so it can be used without drilling the chassis or slimming down the battery mount That's the ticket! I was not going to be modifying any of the factory parts or drilling the chassis so this is freakin aweso...

Re: Scr8p's Worlds Rere #8 - Jconcepts Goodies - 2023 Spring INS race l
So last weekend I went to the Jconcepts INS race at Adrenaline R/C Raceway in Winchester, VA. I raced this in the 17.5 Independent class. The car worked pretty well. I tried some different setups.... mainly tire and spring changes, but by the time the mains came around on Sunday I was back to where ...

Re: Traxxas sending cease and desist letters to aftermarket companies then backing off.
You can make parts "to fit" or "compatible with" Traxxas vehicles. You cannot say "Traxxas bandit widget" it needs to be "widget compatible with Traxxas bandit" and their trademarks cannot be part of the web url. To be honest it makes total sense now, I still ...

Is this Snuffy Smith / Ralph Burch Jr. 1988 Prototype Hyperdrive?
Some time ago I came across an Ebay listing for an old Hyperdrive car. The seller mentioned it was an old National record holder in its day. I was interested but let it pass and moved on. The listing was removed so I figured it sold long ago. Then a year or so later, it shows back up on Ebay so this...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Really got a streak of luck at the moment. :D But also means I’m blowing all my budget and there is no progress with the projects. Really couldn’t pass this never run RC10GT Factory Team Edition. Only bummer are the faded turnbuckles. They turned dark gray for some reason. Can’t complain about it th...

Spencer Rivkin Replica 2019 IFMAR 2wd Worlds Winner
Huge shoutout to Larry Doe for all of this help in making this replica as accurate as possible. Still need to add the IFMAR tech decals, number plate and chassis protector but she's 99% of the way there.

RC10T2
A coworker knowing I'm into rc gave me this T2. The receiver connected to my transmitter and it runs well. Can anyone give me some insight to this model such as is it stock, worked over? I know the motor is not stock and he gave me a Green Machine 2 and a Diamond 12 turn double 19.5 awg motor. What ...

Re: RC10T2
I think it would do fine with 2s and brushless.
If you run NiMh, the Novak ESC would do fine. It's spec'd for 6 to 10 cells of NiCd cells (lower mAh than NiMh). I wouldn't run the brushed motor for more that 5 to 7 min at a time or the brushed motor will get overheated.

Re: RC10T2
For running, I'd think about adding a wide front bumper to protect all the front end stuff. I make mine out of kydex, and a similar width to the wide RPM bumpers. Those RPM bumpers for T/T2/GT sometimes pop up for sale at ok prices too.

Re: RC10T2
The Green Machine will be harder to do, as it has a crimped on endbell. However, the brushes are easily changed. The other can be disassembled and serviced easily. While you can't directly tell by appearance, both motors look to be in excellent condition. Chances are, they probably don't need much. ...
