Re: RC10 Factory Works C2 "Tuber" Build
Back to the welding shop this morning, got a lot of work done. The cage has really stiffened up now. The weight is 49.1 grams. Next is to continue working with the files on the joints and figure out the shock mounts. I have a couple of ideas for that!

Re: RC10 Factory Works C2 "Tuber" Build
Well, you guys (and me  ) deserve a look at the "Tuber" as it stands right now. I've modified the Factory Works rear shock tower by narrowing it and removing some material from the top. This let's it fit between the two cage members. I have to massage the top of the cage in the re...

It's looking really nice. Love the bumper, excellent shape on that part! It looks like you could counter sink the screws?

Re: A '91 Stealth RC10 project
I hear ya man. Counter sinking for screws flat heads screws is soooo tricky! I use a screw that has the threads filed off. It will drop in the hole nicely for checking the depth of the counter sink. I don't have a stop on my drill press!

Re: RC10 Factory Works C2 "Tuber" Build
My first attempt at bending the motor cage was a failure, I didn't realize that as the tube is bent down to meet the cage, they become shorter. I had cut them off, ending up about 4mm short of my goal. So, start over! I'm close to getting them bent down and notched. I have to make a couple of ...
