1/18 scale sprint car

Found this little gem online the other day.
Really like the look of it and hoping to place order on one. Just need to get confirmed that they ship to Europe.

Re: Losi XX4

Interested to see your testing with the "cheap" ESC. :D Me too. I have been using the hobbywing justock in my B6 for a few months now. It gets 4-5 packs run through it 1-2 times a week. It has been flawless. I'm curious to see how similar the cheap esc's are physically, performance wise, ...

Re: Factory Works C2 6-Gear Trailing Arm...

Some have connectors to hook up to the balance plug. I went to the INTEGY website and it doesn't give a whole heck of a lot of information. I'm guessing I need to get a JST-XH connector. Correct. You just need a balance plug (JST-XH connector) on your battery which will simply plug onto the appropr...

Re: Factory Works C2 6-Gear Trailing Arm...

Really liking your build Nomad...
What I did on the JRX Pro was to cut the plug from a spare harness that came with a lipo battery I bought.
Not the prettiest install, but it allows either Nimh or Lipo to be run.

Re: Factory Works C2 6-Gear Trailing Arm...

Sure thing Nomad
I attached at the outboard capacitor. I really did not want to solder on the ESC if not necessary.
The cap was the easiest point to pick up battery voltage and can be easily changed back to OEM look.
3rd wire (for lipo) is tied back in case I wanted to change from Nimh.

Re: Factory Works C2 6-Gear Trailing Arm...

I think I may be missing something in what you want to accomplish, but I have just always plugged the balance charging lead from the battery directly into the voltage checker/alarm. That way it should tell you the voltage of the entire pack, as well as individual cells. Therefore allowing the unit t...

Re: Cheapest Brushless ESC Test and Review

I just ran my first pack (5000mah 2s lipo) through the esc. The new tires on my stampede are oversized and heavy and I definitely was geared too high, but it was problem free wheelie poppin fun the whole time. Motor was running a little warm at the end for a cool overcast day at 160` but the esc nev...

Re: Stealth trans case ASC 6565 vs ASC 6564

The only issue I've seen with the new 6565 cases is a lot of side to side movement of the diff. I bought a pack of shims to space them out.

Re: Factory Works C2 6-Gear Trailing Arm...

Would something like this https://www.amainhobbies.com/trakpower-2s-battery-balance-lead-tkpp5606/p659339 be easier for you? That way you'd have a balance plug on the battery for charging and to plug into the alarm.

Re: RC10 Graphite project

Another long-standing and quiet thread, but I have started to make a little progress with this build now. Still a way to go, but a quick update for the time being. Firstly, I managed to get my hands on a very cool bespoke rear shock tower made by a fellow owner. Just the kind of thing I was looking ...
