More often right D. Been fiddling with this restore. Side panels, two options and tried the hirobo Toyota Celica wheels on it. Pondering dadio's much earlier idea of side panels to enclose rv and battery. Not sure I like hirobos panels with Meccano like holes. Any opinions welcome Screenshot_2022092...

Gotta be a functional runner I reckon. Otherwise might as well be airfix or revell kit. Getting it "working" is half the enjoyment. But I'm not a collector just a dabbler and bodger.

It's a very varied world when it comes to taste and every choice is valid with old school RC , I'm very sure that many people hate the idea of 3d printed parts on old cars . Soitainly. Maybe but if 3d or adaptable parts keep an old girl running...suits me "He says waiting for repro zerda drive...

Suspension axles pretty soft, I've straightened a few with pliers or on a small anvil. If by fixations you mean the small split pins I made some out of single core telephone wire wrapped around a pin to make a loop . They only need to resist pulling out with moderate force.
