Re: Ultima LWB
Nice Doug!
Attention to detail, Definition- When the color of your cad matches the actual color of chassis
I really like this build. Craftsmanship at its best, like always.

Re: Novak receiver wire gauge?
Sandkill The twisted wires appear to be 28ga. on my T-4. If a wire chart can be believed, one of the possible combinations of 28ga = 19strands/40ga Concentric I measured individual strand diameter at .003" very close to 40 ga My strand count was 18 but I could have lost a strand, pretty small s...

Re: Mid-motor B1, B4, B6
Thanks guys I did get a Reedy motor/ESC during Black friday. Saved a little on the two. Fitting both in the chassis was fairly tight. I moved the servo forward and to the right to gain a little more clearance. The sensor wire that came with motor is too long so I have a 150mm on its way. Got some so...

Re: Losi noob with some JRX-Pro questions
Hi there Saito If you end up needing/wanting parts for your Losi, Dan at OLDRC.COM / Sabula Tech may be a new friend. A great guy to deal with and a wealth of info and parts for vintage Losi. Plus he is a business member here on RC10 talk. https://sabulatech.com/storefront/index.php?id_category=5&am...

Re: Mid-motor B1, B4, B6
So after a quick bench test to check esc, steering and motor functions it was obvious that the rear wheel/tires were way out of balance. I did not have a wheel balancer nor did I want to spend $30 to order one and wait. More fun to build one anyways. I did find some black plastic spacers from a TV m...

Re: Mid-motor B1, B4, B6
Hi Doug
I have used poster tack or it's called sticky tack.
For the black wheels I think I might try black butyl putty.
The non-hardening black putty is used in automobiles for all sorts of things.

Doug
I don't know about "far from perfect"
That looks as fine as frogs hair split three ways.
Another great XLR8 build!

Re: Protech Bodies
Thanks for the nifty graphic depiction.
Thought I could add my finding on the Penguin Protech body.
I can't do a graphic like Doug can but I sure know how to steal and modify it.

Re: Motor voltage not reaching 7.2V. Vintage setup. Car slow.
Bakauata Maybe a couple of thoughts. 1. Are you using the same radio for both cars? Not sure of the radio you are using for the RC10, but could it be a throttle endpoint issue? 2. Binding in the transmission is easily diagnosed by removing the pinion and turning the rear wheels. Should spin easily. ...

Bathtub picture
When trying to take pictures I am always looking for either an interesting yet not distracting backdrop or just highlighting the subject. The bathtub gives an interesting semi-reflective background and tends to diffuse a flash fairly well. A bright light source from above with a diffuser might also ...

Re: Vintage Losi JrxPro pro slipper help
Hello Michael It looks like you may have the correct trans input shaft for a slipper but no slipper??? My JRX Pro did not come with a slipper but I added one. For a slipper kit this should be correct - losi a3110 http://vintagelosi.com/Instructions_files/Friction_Slipper_A3110.pdf If your setup does...

Re: Steering blocks
Though I'm not sure about fitment, could B4 ASC9581 trailing blocks be a solution?
They are readily available from Amain and others. Not sure about axels and exact geometry.
I have used inline B4 blocks on a few of my cars and they seem to work OK.
Just a thought.
