Re: So, what did you do RC today?
More track progress. The pictures were taken from the roof. The driver's stand when built will be a lot closer. The good news is when driving you face South. No sun in your face at any time. The straight and berm are 3.5 metres wide. The track narrows after the berm to 3 metres wide until the main s...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Just got back from my cousin's place. Coxbros and the diamond one hooked me up with early Christmas presents. No idea when I'll get around to it but I will. Bag is full of motors and cases.

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)
Not my picture (my wide screen couldn't go anywhere near getting it all in), but this is a picture from the first day of this weekend's Vintage Bash in Knox, Australia.
Day one out of the way.... two more days to go!
Official count is 505 cars.... made it all the way around the track!Day one out of the way.... two more days to go!

Re: Ultimate Vintage Brushed Motor Reference Guide (Discussion Topic)
So back to the original question, does anyone know if Gonzo/Wimpy labeled made any green motors, or is it a mislabeled Green Machine 2? There are lots of brands that used Trinity stock motors, or at least the cans and endbells. That specific green motor, the label looks to me like a computer printe...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Not very exciting, but since it's a slow news night, I cleaned out a "Junk" drawer in the laundry room as my wife calls them. Deals in the catalog are good thru April 30, 2010 if anyone is interested. Andy's arms were not in there, which is disappointing. I have some plans for them if they...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
You could use the avid top shaft and avid clutch, liveaxle just posted about going over to that system. https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?t=50088
Also since kits are now being parted on eBay, you could just grab the new parts off a rere if you want to keep it vintage style.

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - November 2024 ** - Winner - Incredible_Serious
My most wild creation yet trying to utilize modern (available) drivetrain (Exotek DR10M 3 gear all metal transmission) and front mount servo setup (drag specific) for the ultimate is front weight bias. Picked up the final piece of the puzzle thanks to Andy Jacobson slinging some classic styling on t...

My sons T2.4
New built T2, slightly modernized for vintage racing. My son started vintage racing with a truck I built and sold BITD and he wanted to run more than one class so we built this. It's scary fast for what it is

Allow me to present my PB Mini Mustang, as raced in the recently-completed Vintage Bash V3 down here at the Knox offroad track, Melbourne Australia. No shelf queen here! MIniMustang.jpg Has installed a silver can motor as per the class rules, matched to a Hobbywing 1060 ESC. Radio gear is basic FlyS...
