Re: Ryuz FF

I fell in love with the FWC buggies years ago and yours is pure brilliance. I wish there were more folks out there scratch building more buggies like this. If only I had the skills you have shown here in this build.
Its a real credit to you. Dont worry about the moron with the silly attitude.

Re: Ryuz FF

Hi guys, thanks for all the positive input. This car is one of my RC dreams fulfilled. :) Have always wondered what it would be like to drive something like this and have finally been able to do it - and so far it's handling has really exceeded my wildest expectations. As for Mr "I crash cars&q...

Re: RC10 MIP 4-10 Legend Build

Well, this may have to end up being a 100% accurate restoration now! I am excited to say the least!

Re: Ten4.1

I made a little progress on the Ten4.1 recently. First, the steering. I modified the bell cranks, caster blocks, and steering blocks to get more steering out of it. The Ten4 setup was only getting about 35 degrees of steering at full lock. This was due to the bell cranks hitting the transmission cas...

Re: Your favorite ESC (with photo)

Not an expert on this subject at all, but an ESC that I was introduced to recently is definitely my favorite so far, simply for its programmability. The Zeta Micro. Via a dipswitch programmer, the following can be set or adjusted: Trigger Start Position, Trigger Full Position, Trigger Start Brake Po...

Re: Your favorite ESC (with photo)

I´ll have to say Tekin 410K.
It was that highly sought after ESC that you never could afford and so different from all others.

Re: Your favorite ESC (with photo)

This is a special ESC recently obtained for my 1997 Yokomo MX-4 World Champ buggy. The Tekin M Star Gold is my favorite for 2023. The gold heat sinks should look sharp installed.
I believe both the gold and red label Tekins were the winning ESC's at the 97 worlds.

Re: 870c ReRe?

Wow what a great build. Nothing too tight or too loose. Everything there, although at times I was thinking man an extra eclip or screw here and there wouldn't hurt haha. The spine is very weak, 1mm thick g10 and flexes like crazy. First thing on the drawing board will be an upper brace. They used yr...

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary

AE is charging the preorders on this one, unlike the CC where they notified you when it was ready and then marked them up. It's $379, paid in full when you order it.

I prefer to order through amain but with a limited release and not knowing numbers I didn't want to chance it.
