Re: mrp high roller project
Made some progress on the build. Going to have to take the rear diff apart and see what can be done about the gears as they are not working properly. Thankfully I tracked down someone who has the file to print the gear I believe needs replacing. Here's how it's looking thus far. https://i.imgur.com/...

Losi JRX2 TOP Quality Slipper Clutch
Hi, I managed to find an old slipper clutch relic for a Junior T build i'm doing, looks like a cool design. Its made to work with the brass geared top shaft for the early JRx2, which brings about a couple of issues for me: Is it possible to get the gears from the original top shaft? How easy is it t...

Re: Help with Fantom 4WD
Not the best pics, I'll try get some better pictures if these aren't good enough. one end looks very similar to a standard optima dog bone, the other is like a very subtle hex. I don't have a good way of measuring it. I'll see what I can do tomorrow as far as measurements go. Cheers Rob 1_edited.jpg...

Re: rc10 screw set
Best I have ever found is Team KNK. They come with the correct 100* screws and although the large screws are still stainless, the rest of this kit is black oxide like the originals. They give you extra screws and it fits multiple versions of the buggy. I am not aware of any company that includes the...

Re: rc10 screw set
I'll add that the aluminum 8-32 screws are tough to come by, the newer ones from associated are really green and terrible. I run all my cars with stainless 8-32 screws instead in the aluminum ones unless I am doing a replica or shelf build.

Re: Best source of parts!
Ebay is Your best chance - Or really spend some time on google using the AE parts numbers.
If You´re looking for vintage parts, be prepared to pay quite a sum. Even the "classic" parts are costly

Re: Nylon rear hubs 870c
If you're having trouble finding the original magnesium hubs, you can use Kyosho Lazer ZX rear hubs as a substitute. The hub offset is very similar to the 870 magnesium hubs, plus they have more holes for adjustability. Might not be a "perfect" fit, but it should be close. If you can't fin...

Hey everyone. It has been a while since I last posted on here with a build project and having been able to procure the parts needed for this Yokomo MX-4 Hybrid, I would like to share some of the parts used and build progress with you all. Re: Yokomo MX-4 SSG Special
Totally awesome, Vincenzo!!! Cheers Paul :D The Rayspeed Spring Cups came all the way from Switzerland  nice parts I never seen the SSG front damper stay for MX4, but why not have the rear? Thanks crusaderlyf2 (Yunfei?). I have the MX-4 SSG rear shock tower available but at the moment, I am l...

Re: Yokomo MX-4 SSG Special
Some progress. Mounted the battery and transponder posts onto the chassis and assembled the slipper clutch. The slipper clutch is quite a simple design and similar to the version on the MX-4. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/49983551888_2ab874700a_k.jpg IMG_3018 by Vincenzo Triventi , on Flickr h...
