Sorry guys, I do not normally check this site anymore as the bulk of the activity is on FB. But, we have exciting news!!! GoMachV on here, Jeff Malar (Factory Works) and I have agreed to have Factory Works take over the carbon fiber cutting! What does this mean? You will no longer see the Vintage RC...

In all seriousness, rough run. Would moving the rockets forward change the center of pressure and reduce the cars tendency to become airborn?

Resized_20231018_070001.jpeg An internal investigation🔎 was launched after the crash....and the reason was discovered: The left/right and up/down stabilizer rods both broke half way thru the run....this is what centers and and angles the engine and keeps it stable...

I thought the culprit was pretty obvious ...................... not enough power!

I have to say that car held up pretty damn great for all the hell you put it through!

Not to spoil the fun of flight, but maybe a front spoiler for some downforce up there.

...or maybe some side and top fins added to the midsection for more regular trajectory once airborne

This is my Vintage racer for an upcoming event in a couple of weeks, I don't think I could have picked a worse race car, lol. I only picked the Hotshot because it was cheap and I needed something to fill in a second class. I hate silver can racing as it's a cheaters class where your up against oddba...
