Picked up this as a partial slider and pieced it back together, mostly when parts that I already had. A stamp, modified for inline battery, DS servo saver, Factory Works towers and transmission brace, and Tamiya turnbuckles (weird, right?). Body is a JConcepts Protector with reproduction Cox Bandido...

JRXT body from Sabula Tech on ebay. Thinking of painting it just like the OG box art. I love it.

Re: Was KISS the hottest band in the world? 77'/78'

I was never a Kiss fan, they mostly made noise, not music. They were a product of the rebellion of the 60's and 70's which led to the hair bands of the 80's. Whomever was the most obnoxious got the most attention. Cyndi Lauper, Madonna, different genre, I know, but it was same thing, the more outlan...

Re: we all have big toys too don't we? show off your ride!

I'm not a full scale car guy at all, but my daughter leaves for college soon, so I finally let her drive my father in law's toy car. 17K miles. The power worried me in the past. Her and her bf had fun. He leaves tomorrow, she leaves the 22nd. 😪

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

My gearbox cases arrived. New AE parts packaging! Not as white as I thought they would be but fine with me. . 1000013726.jpg . It needs a little clean up, but overall a nice functional Victor 4A. I had to swap to a power pole battery connector for checkout because the Race Prep connector it had is j...

Re: Old School Vanning Resto

looks great! Im still trying to find a header for mine. I have a side exhaust and none of my vintage headers wrap around the engine correctly. The one I do have is too new and isnt appropriate for it.

Re: Old School Vanning Resto

What's that special effects highlighted area that follows it around when driving? Is that like the old "Fox trax" puck that had the glow around the puck on Fox televised hockey games? 🤔

Hey Vanning, what you smokin? 😁
