Re: Cliff Lett RC10 Replica / '90 ROAR Nats
I realized tonight that I did actually move this build along since the last chassis pics. Turnbuckles and ball cups are on. I also had a pair of AE universals chrome plated and installed. Oh, and the nose tubes.

Re: What diameter piano wire for 1/10 stock car wing?
I typically use .078, unless I can't get it through a particular wing mount. Then I'll use .062.

RC10T and GT pick-up last night
Spent some time at jwscab's house yesterday. My wife's car was at the dealership for service and it's real close to his place. On the way home I decided to swing in to the hobby shop in side a farmers market to see the owner. I've known him since I was a kid and worked at his hobby shop that was in ...

Re: Hirosaka's Stealth RC10 used in Australia & Detroit Worlds
Horrible pics. They're from a video on Youtube.
Masami, Halsey, Lett, Vehlow, and B main winner Kloeber. There is another one in the B main but I gotta try to figure out who it is.
Drescher was in the A main, but looks like he ran a standard RC10.

Re: Hirosaka's Stealth RC10 used in Australia & Detroit Worlds
I sent Rick Hohwart a message on FB yesterday or the day before. He confirmed he did not race a Stealth car in '89. Another reason for getting in touch with him is I had a question about this green Stealth car. He looks to have been pitting with Rick so I thought he may know. He said he wasn't certa...

Re: RC10T and GT pick-up last night
Little update...... no pics though. So after tearing them down I found a few other goodies. Both trucks were outfitted with titanium hinge pins. Though there was a steel one mixed in on the 10t. Could've been mixed up when the guy was reinstalling them with the titanium pins..... hard to say. And th...

It's a 1 piece chassis, the kickup is "molded" in.MarkyDents wrote: ↑Sun Dec 18, 2022 10:54 am I noticed on the GP3D info page it shows the 30 deg kick-up being stated as “moulded”. On the order page it’s said to be a one piece. Which lower chassis came with your kits ?

The RC10B3x Prototype
So a few days ago I found out about a car I had never heard of before, an RC10B3x. FB_IMG_1671071977619.jpg The car was run at the at the postponed 2001 Ifmar Worlds in 2002, and seems to have been raced at other tracks in 2002. Here is what Kurt Wenger mentioned on FB about it's specs: It was a new...

I think most/all other factory drivers used the "RC10 Worlds" type: https://www.facebook.com/commerce/products/rc10-worlds-shell--mirage-turbo-associated/5276677219060516?referral_code=mini_shop_profile_plus_header_cta&merchantId=2074111539302325&ref=mini_shop_storefront I don't b...
