Re: I feel the Need for Speed

Rob, How about this, 1:10 pan car. Always good for fun and speed - I used to run a 10L at Coburg Velodrome back in the day ( https://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?cid=42120&id=154 ). This one is a 200mm model, so fits 'normal' touring car bodies, unlike my old one, which took 235mm Pro10...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - June 2020 ** - Winner - Lavigna

This is a project I've been working on for a long while - I bought the body back in 2011, and completed the paint job in 2015, but I've only just mated it to a chassis. As can be seen from this TamiyaClub link ( https://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?cid=125501 ), the paint job is quite invol...

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread

Paul, Looks to be a Schumacher Cougar2. Shape of the body lower outline is very much a match to the Cougar2 tub chassis plate... Alex Plus, has the nose extension on the back, the hump in the bonnet / hood area, and the small cutouts at the base of the front windscreen. Also, the little cutouts at ...

Re: we all have big toys too don't we? show off your ride!

Haven't had much to be happy about big-toy wise for a few years..... but late last year, the 2000 model Civic we were driving pretty much died of tiredness. One weekend, the missus sprung it on me that we would go and look at the car that I had picked out as the best replacement for us, given what w...

Re: Schumacher Cougar/shotgun hybrid

Well, it is the basics for a Cougar 2 Works, and there was a truck version offered back in the day.... but there's a few things that don't seem to be correct. For one, the front tower is the standard Cougar, Shotgun or Club 10 mk1 part, rather than a Cougar2, C2 Works or Storm truck part. The rear t...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - June 2020 ** - Winner - Lavigna

I'd just like to thank the people that voted for me; this month, I got more votes than I have in the two or three previous times I have entered..... combined! At this rate, I'll win a month soon.... got August 2027 marked on the calendar already! Should just about have my Daytona finished by then :l...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - July 2020 ** - Winner - blast

WOW!

Very much a quality over quantity competition this month... all entrants should be proud!

Apologies to Winner_evo, as I would usually vote for a neat, crisp Mini Mustang in a heartbeat...... but you gotta love the purple!
