Re: ** Hopelessly Incomplete Project of the Month - May 2025 ** Winner - BattleTrak (JRX2)
Victory in failure I guess there's hope for my XXX-NT electric project as it came in dead last. I guess I'll have to get it running this summer.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Too many JrX2 wheels is a problem best solved by obtaining more JrX2s.BattleTrak wrote: ↑Tue Jun 03, 2025 8:40 pm Not that I need any more Jrx2 wheels..but I got 2 more sets.. finally a matching set of Pro-line #2547 & #2548 chrome wheels.. and getting closer to a complete set of glue on wheels.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
I couldn't help myself. Everything I've read says this is a great car TLR put together. Hopefully worth the wait.

Re: TAG Navajo (Pro)
Added rear shocks. These are Kyosho Progress rears. The shock mount consists of two angle alloy plates which fit under the body mounts and are reinforced with the carbon fibre strip between the two.
Overall picture at the moment. Note the Progress front shocks.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Got these Uber rare Lunsford XX front titanium axles. I didn't even know these were made until a year or two ago. Very happy to have them. There's been a used set on evil bay for awhile, but I was determined to wait for NIP.

Re: Jrx-pro se rpm gear cover question
you need a small pattern nut that has a 3/16 hex. I do something simalr to what Brad does though, I use a cut piece of a RPM rod end. Brad's idea is probably easier to deal with though

Front Wheel Drive Buggy Discussion
Front Wheel drive buggies continue to fascinate me. It is a hard and challenging project. I love the rare instances where RC hobbyists give their go at creating a decent FF buggy. What is the most promising design so far? After the 1988 Kyosho Maxxum FF, has there ever been another front wheel drive...

Re: Front Wheel Drive Buggy Discussion
There were buggies before (A-Main Bullet, Nichimo Spirit FF, and a few 4wd buggies sold as fwd like the coyote) and after (the ORB is a currently available buggy) as well as 3d printed buggies like the Badger.

Re: Front Wheel Drive Buggy Discussion
After FF buggies were forced into the 4wd class for offroad there wasn't a good reason for a company to produce an FF buggy over a 4wd design. Since then FWD has been almost exclusively an onroad thing. 1) Unless someone makes wheel hub motors, and an esc that can simulate a diff your options for mo...

Re: Front Wheel Drive Buggy Discussion
A little goofing off I did awhile back. More designed for a 4wd onroad truck, but travel could always be added. It was just a proof of concept thing.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
My latest plundering of the treasures of the UK arrived. Many thanks to my import/export specialist. An MG Exterminator that's nicer than my first Exterminator, a Team Tanaplan that's also nicer than my first, and a Reedy Euro Sonic that is my first Reedy Euro Sonic! There's no model letter on it, b...
