A really nice time capsule came my way. All it needs is a good cleaning and a body. The original owner seems to have taken really good care of it. I'm not sure if I'll go painted or clear with the body.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Fitted up a RJ Speed Jeep crawler body on one of my Blackfoots, using Monster Beetle mounts. I need to narrow the rear mounts a little but the overall fit is better than I'd hoped for.

The unplanned - Gemini SLX freshing up
LurkingCAT gave me this car for donating to the website a few weeks ago and I've decided to do some work to it recently. Not sure what compelled me to get this car, but it's nearly as old as me. I do intend on driving this car, lightly, at least a few times. I knew from the start that the original ...

Wild Willy with a shaky head pilots this crawler. This is my RCP Wreckluse steel crawler chassis. For the running hardware i used an Axial AX10 Scorpion XC1. It sports Yeah Racing front strobe headlights and regular rear lights. It has locked diffs and four wheel steering. It can crab walk as well. ...

RC10T 17.5 runner "M.I.P." This truck started out as a mid run 10t ebay junker I picked up about 15 years ago initially to salvage it for the plastic parts. The left over nose plate, nose tubes, and chassis were all bent. When covid hit I decided to do something with the left over chassis ...

t3_1.jpeg t3_2.jpeg This is my T3 built up on a hand made carbon fiber chassis. It was a challenge to make a 1 piece CF chassis that had both the front brace mount and the rear integrated bulkhead and mount. I see why there wasn't every a 3rd party version. Build thread is here https://www.rc10talk...

Carpet Oval LX-T
Here's my LX-T that I raced on carpet ovals as a kid. It's close to how it was back then, except for the .36" shocks and yellow motor plate. I ran A&L Roadkill & BTS Liberator, Dahm's Ruff- E-Nuff SE and Andy's Lo Profile bodies. I had Trinity Pushed 1400's but the Point Blank labels fi...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Well rain\thunder storms kinda put a damper on my original race plans still put down a lot of practice laps on the indoor carpet with the JRX Pro. It handles surprisingly well on high grip carpet to be honest and despite being a 21.5 motor it was keeping pace with some of the modern stuff running on...

Re: Carbonfiber T3 RTR
I did some light wet sanding on the wheels and finished up the wheels and body with some novus polish.
It turned out nice.

Original 'Race Prep' AYK Radiant Mid conversion – one of the rarest cars in my collection I would think. They produced less than 50 of these 'Race Prep' conversions (according to Steve Dunn) before AYK approached them about making it an official kit, thus bringing about the Pro Radiant. The '87 Roms...

Got a sweet batch of motors from a factory backed dirt oval racer! All the bagged motors were factory rebuilt in 1990, ready to race.

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
Well looking for something else on Ebay I bumped into something very familiar looking
What gets me is the inverted rear shocks, which has been something that people are currently doing.
