Re: Losi Mini JRX2 coming soon
Awesome…didn’t see this coming! Looks like it’ll be a scaled down JRX2 with 5-link. Now my 40th anniversary Mini-T 2.0 will have a friend. More details in the morning..

Re: Losi Mini JRX2 coming soon
Might already be done. Look at the body on the 1/10 scale one. It is a pure sticker "paint" job. The stripes were paint on the original box art . Also the gear cover is totally wrong.

Re: Losi Mini JRX2 coming soon
This is incredible. Fiberglass chassis with kickup and a true 5 link. Junior two and pro body schemes as well. They nailed it!!!

Ryan Harris just posted a video with more detail here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rAQRM7oJ850
Looks very cool! Hopefully this motivates them to do a 1/10th re-re

One more video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQ0wA0R60e0
Tower is also taking pre-orders: https://www.towerhobbies.com/product/116-mini-jrx2-2wd-buggy-brushed-rtr/LOS01020.html
Very cool indeed! Kinda bummed they mention in the video that they have no intentions of doing a 1/10th re-re. I get their point about not wanting to ruin the vintage market however I feel the re-re's and repro's have done nothing but good things for the vintage scene.

Re: Losi Mini JRX2 coming soon
Yep I preordered mine as soon as I saw it on tower. So cool. $169 rtr isn’t bad at all either.

Re: Losi Mini JRX2 coming soon
They really kept a lid on this but why 1/16th ? I mean it's cool but if it was 1/10 my money would be theirs now .
If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.

Re: Losi Mini JRX2 coming soon
I'd give this comment an extra thumbs up if I could. Going mini is cool but it feels like a missed opportunity to have it in the right size.

Ha Ha I've got a Wltoys A959b 1/16th with a 540 , its a blast but so very very limited in its off road ability compared to a 1/10juicedcoupe wrote: ↑Thu May 26, 2022 6:37 pmBecause its inline with all the WlToys and similar stuff.Frankentruck wrote: ↑Thu May 26, 2022 5:41 pmI'd give this comment an extra thumbs up if I could. Re: Losi Mini JRX2 coming soon
Love this thing. But, lol, true vintage Team Losi fans should be able find all the flaws in there just about straight copy of the original JRX2. Flaws that they copied from the original. They improved it by adding slipper but didn't fix other flaws.
How many can you find?
Also the whole set of product photos has an error with a missing part I think, should be 2 of something but only shows one in photos. Can you spot that error?
