Re: Vintage RC-10 - worth restoring to running condition?

I reuse my wheels. I use a rectangular plastic container with an air tight lid and pour in about a half inch of acetone, place the wheel/tires on a 3/4" thick wood block to keep the tire from contacting the acetone, seal the container and leave it for 24 to 48 hours and the tires will slip off ...

The RC10 I've Always Wanted

Like many here, I have more than my fair share of vintage RC10's, but this one has been under construction for over 2 years sitting in the background waiting for the right parts and trying to decide how to paint it. I wanted this one to be more of a street buggy. I wanted something different from th...

Re: Off colored orange pan with A stamp

That pan just looks a little oxidized, like it was kept somewhere like a garage. Dissembling and thoroughly cleaning the chassis should help. A good scrub with dish soap and a mildly abrasive pad will usually remove a lot of it. I have also used naphtha (lighter fluid) to remove some stubborn stains...

Re: Dadio's 3D Printing Stuff

Re: My Curtis Edinger Restoration-The one that ALMOST got away

For over a year now, I have wanted to do a hybrid replica paint I envisioned between my Curtis Husting Edinger paint scheme, and the Winning Edge video RC10. I then put my idea into photoshop to see if it would look like something I would want and after adding some thin black trim lines, flat black ...

Re: B2 blackout!

This will be interesting.
I really like the B2.
I my self have plans on doing a Tamiya Super Astute all in black and or grayscale.
When it comes to small aluminum parts such as screws and in this case front axles you could try with Birchwood Casey Aluminum black. Just be thorough when cleaning

Re: My Vintage Box Art RC10 replicas

Pyxster, The way I do it, is I drill a .08" hole into the body where I want the lights, and then I use 2-56 threaded screws to attach them. The AE fog lights you will need to drill and thread a hole in for the 2-56 screws. If you use the Rough Rider lights as I have here ( the original box art ...

My Therapist sent me here...

Hello my name is Biggs, and I am a Kyoshoaholic. Okay well not really cause nobody's parents would be cool (or insane) enough to name them Biggs Darklighter!!! But the Kyosho bit is defiantly true. I am not sure I would say I am a Kyosho collector, that kinda implies I buy the nice ones and set them...
