JRX2 - The project.
Hi, After a more than 20 year break from RC I got hooked again a while ago. While cleaning at my fathers place, I found my old stuff. An original HotShot, an Optima Mid, a Schumacher touring car and my last competition Losi XX Cr. It took me a while to go through and restore some of them. I then rea...

Re: we all have big toys too don't we? show off your ride!
This is a cool thread! I also have some big toys. 155.JPG Alfa Romeo 155 16V Trackday toy. Very well balanced, but could use more power. And no, the decals did not make it faster... :D 7.JPG Lotus Seven type clone. 2 litre Ford engine. Fantastic fun on the track! 7_1.JPG Built from a partial kit con...

Re: Post Pictures of your Losi Vehicles
Those are some clean cars!
Super nice!
I never got into 4wd. But that XX4 has attracted my interest.

Re: Looking for top shaft diemnsions
You just need a Losi A3120 top shaft... if you can find one. Yes... :D Both my LRM:s are non slipper. The idea is to use your measurements in combination with measurements taken from my non slipper shaft and see if I can get one of my machinist friends to make one. It might cost me a couple of beer...

Re: LXT runner build
Nice!
Stadium trucks were never popular here in Sweden. But they sure are cool!
And that Pro SE brings back some nice memories.

Re: JRX series set up discussion
Love that story!
Me and another Losi driver contacted Losi for setup help before a regional race here in Sweden.
We got a fax back from Jack Johnson!
Still have a copy of it.

Re: JRX2 - The project.
Painted and decals applied. I aimed for something period correct. And this was one of the paint schemes I used to race. From a distance it looks alright. A couple of mistakes but nothing major. About the same quality as I did back in the day.  20210301_205216.jpg 20210301_205232.jpg 2021...

Scrapheap Junior
Here we go again. :D I got a lot of extra parts when I purshased my Jrx2 project. There were shock towers, Junior chassis, gearbox, bulkheads, dampers, steering parts, uprights and suspension arms. I cleaned and sorted all parts when I did the Jrx2 and ordered what was missing. I had to start with a...

Re: Scrapheap Junior
The build goes on. Since I had Pro SE front and rear shock towers I decided to use them instead of the plastic Junior ones. 20210306_150141.jpg But I ran into a clearance issue. The front shock springs rubs the shock tower when using original arms. 20210312_142753.jpg Had to 3D print Pro SE front ar...

Re: Scrapheap Junior
looks great, what 3d printer did you print the arms and bulkhead with? Thanks! They are printed in a 3D Systems Projet 2500 Plus. It is unfortunately not mine, I have access to it via a friends workplace. 8) I decided to make this one into a runner. I got some modern electronics for it, but still u...
