Re: 2025 21.5 Pre-Pro SE buggy
Tore into the trans. Built well, diff is solid. Outdrive bearings were rubber shielded and as stiff as bushings, so I replaced them with some silky ones from another trans. I never realized how tight the Losi tolerances were. Good god that was a pain in the ass to change! Trans is much smoother, sti...

Re: 2025 21.5 Pre-Pro SE buggy
If you must run a slipper I was impressed with the magnesium slipper plates, they couldn't weigh more than a couple grams. I'm sure you can make it free, it just takes time.... Not a bad idea. I may try the old toothpaste packed slave case trick. Wait, what's this trick? We used to pack a case *not...

Re: New Build - NIB B2 Japan Export
So far it's an earlier kit since the chassis doesn't have the MSC holes. Hoping for white servo horn and servo mounts on this one for you.
And I prob have the box front tires NIP....but the wide fives and the Yokie rears will look cooler anyway!

Re: 2025 21.5 Pre-Pro SE buggy
My VONATS paint transferred over the the JRX Pro body pretty well, of course I made the windows twice their molded size- The problem is the Flourescent yellow Losi decals I have are too small....and so I'm going to put off what I'm going to do eventually... But I do hate cutting into an uncut origin...

Re: Did you ever or do you race now?
Started racing in Jan 1992 (Walts indoor Clay Classic) 70th out of 71! Second to last overall with a brand new 7001 10T and only beat a Kyosho Big Brute lol. Raced indoor clay oval and carpet oval in the winter, outdoor offroad in the summer. In my 20's I was a full ride dirt oval guy, designed and ...

Re: New Build - NIB B2 Japan Export
Speaking of databases..was there ever a B2 variations thread? I know Rod had the 1st version with white steering parts in the 25 years thread- but this car would be a 2nd version by my count (black steering, no MSC holes in chassis, alloy shock caps) then the late version- just curious. Can't wait t...

Re: Revolution Motors
I had two silver label Revolutions, both were listed as 12 scale motors on the package. Don't recall the wind, the colors on the label worked better for the build than some others..why I had them lol
