Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Found some new steering blocks that I forgot about (and white shock plastics) and fitted the CRP axles. New rear axles and Andy's wheel adapters. Pure-Tech battery strap and fitted up the shock bushings. I don't have the JG rear body mount but I found that 10T rear mounts line up with the JG tower. ...

Re: Pro4 SC10 - been craving a basher truck
I've picked up some pro-line wheels and smoothie-2s for track days. For bashing I'll keep the stock tires for now and will have to research decent tires for loamy dirt, sand and turf. I have these on my Torment for bashing. Screenshot_20220902-160522_Gallery.jpg JConcepts Fling Kings in the back an...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Just don't get it tangled up with a Slash. While faster, a SC10 looks a little fragile when compared to a Slash (especially a beefed up one).Brendan2904 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 20, 2025 11:18 am This puts the slash to shame in my experience. Best RTR SCT on the market.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Both side by side the Pro4 is better out of the box than the slash. The biggest problem is the lack of aftermarket parts for the associated. Then again my slash was broken in half a couple of times and rpm’d out. I'm not saying that this is you, but just something that I notice a lot. People start ...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Got a couple white case Ace servos. They aren't particularly strong or fast but damn that looks sweet.

Re: brushed ESC's- new vs old old tech
I have a Holmes that is nice. But if you want more than basic adjustments, you have to buy the Castle Link stuff. For ease of adjustments, the 1080 is my favorite. Preferably the V1. I also have some Spektrum esc's that I bought late last year but I haven't had time to really mess with them. Some of...

Re: brushed ESC's- new vs old old tech
My personal experience is that the older Novak controllers(super rooster) are 'easier' than the Spektrum I had on brushed equipment. Even after changing settings around, I just didn't feel 'right.' My only other modern brushed controller is a Hobbywing 1060 that just didn't give me any issue. Most ...

Re: brushed ESC's- new vs old old tech
For more punch adding a external cap might be helpful too. This is the 1060 in my E-GT conversion, with a three cap bank on the battery side. With a 12T 550 motor ( Arrma in the pic, open endbell Spektrum now), it has never had any problems. Screenshot_20250505_135402_Samsung Internet.jpg I conside...
