Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Got a Team Orion SV2, Speedworks Caliber, and a old Green Machine 1. I actually made a offer on these about a month ago but it was declined. They never did sell and the price dropped to the same as my original offer, so I decided to get them. Screenshot_20221208-133733_Gallery.jpg Also got this Wiha...

Re: 4.3mm ball studs source
I have bought Schumacher ball studs from different series, all fit my Associated, RPM, and Custom Works cups fine.
I don't know of anyone offering a female threaded version in 4.3mm right now.
Tamiya has a "5mm" female that works nicely with 4.8mm cups. It also uses M3 threads.

Re: Bored? Come To The Chit / Chat Thread
Was going through some old boxes and came across my first charger. Screenshot_20221209-153553_Gallery.jpg Screenshot_20221209-153611_Gallery.jpg Still has the original Kyosho connector (backwards Tamiya), as my first car was Kyosho based. I'm sure that many of us had something similar. I used it for...

Re: 6 gear trans article (June 89’ RCCA)
For instance the long Trackmaster diff shaft, one of mine has it and I yes of course the longer threaded end makes simple clear sense but the need for the screw on the opposite side kind of perplexed me until now :D I have one as well. I always figured that the screw was for simplifying assembly an...

Re: Stealth Slipper upgrade circa 2022
Boki and TBG make a few different covers. There are also several 3D printed ones out there.

Re: RC10 gold anodized rims from Pargu and tire combos
I tried a set of those tires on some JConcepts Detonator wheels, but the sidewalls rubbed on the carriers. They may have cleared truck carriers but I never got around to trying.

What'ca get for Christmas?
The wife got me a Blackfoot.
She was going to get me a new charger as well but I was busy and never told her which one. That's okay, I'll buy it myself and get the points and discounts at Amain.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Got a Sassy Chassis RC10 chassis. It has some extra holes in it from a nitro conversion but it isn't horrible. It was cheaper than a nose plate and I wanted something different.

Re: Project RC10 graphite…team car?
The RPM is a vast improvement over the original pieces. IMHO, the original setup is probably the RC10's biggest problems. It wasn't corrected until the Worlds car, which basically used a cheap copy of Hogue bellcranks. Shock towers are easy. Originals are still common, JConcepts makes some, Vintage ...
