Re: LRM Transmission question
When you say stripped, what part of the gear are you talking about. The teeth on the gear, the center hole of the gear, or the little diff balls made a large donut of the gear? If teeth, then probably put to much stress on the teeth from jumps or slamming from reverse into forward or vise versa.(try...

About OLDRC.COM and Sabula Tech
Sabula Tech was formed originally as a computer and pinball support and service company. Now it is mostly RC and Pinball. I am also the creator of the vintagelosi.com website. While running vintagelosi.com, people kept asking to buy parts from me and I directed them to other places. Three years ago ...

Live Stream of just arrived Losi parts
Hopefully the mods are cool with me posting this here. Can delete if not happy, it is ok. Tomorrow night I am doing a live stream of box openings. We just got a huge shipment of stuff in from overseas. It is mostly original Team Losi parts. But there is also RPM and Trinity parts. Not sure we will g...

Re: It begins for A1003 reproduction
I vote for strength. That way I can "save" all my actual Losi ones. Do you have any feel for a time frame at this point? Time frame is unknown right now. The original plan had been to do the Losi version and we had the CAD work all done and 3D printed to test it was all good. But then I t...

Re: Why asymetric steering bellcranks?
From the man himself. "The JRX2 originally only had a flexible steering arm as a servo saver (not such a great idea). I wanted it to be as long as possible to reduce the strain (more travel) when hit. Since the arms were offset only one could be that long. I would do many things differently in ...

Re: It begins for A1003 reproduction
Ok, got the quote. Things look about the same as the xx bulkhead. The odd angled holes for the top brace make it a little more complex/expensive to make. After VONATS we will get the CAD revised for the RPM mods to what we already have. Then the file goes for injection molding optimization. We will ...

Update to Vintagelosi.com
Ok, another update that took a while to get done. Probably the last big content update for a long time. Not much more to add at this point unless I squeeze in XXX models and I don't think I will. I had posted all the pictures from meeting up with Gil Jr in the History section earlier this year. I al...

Re: It begins for A1003 reproduction
Sorry everyone. We are cancelling this, just not enough interest. It is funny, people who asked us to make these months before we started this never even ordered. So they didn't put their money on the line when it mattered. http://sabulatech.com/SabulaTech/PartStarter.html I kind of knew this would ...

Re: It begins for A1003 reproduction
Hey, this year I am going to try and get the ball rolling again. I will have some other financial obligations paid. But we shall see with current world events. As for Shapeways, it all depends who is driving and if you it things. Back in the day I did A1003 and A1101 Bulkhead at Shapeways and they l...
