You wouldn’t have to do anything different with the battery cup if you switch out to a different pack that has the leads coming out the top instead of the side. A squared off shaped hard case pack would fit best as well.

I’ve got them in this truck, the cans are long. Not sure if they will clear your existing 4 link setup….

Re: Factory Works Ten4.1 project

GoMachV wrote: Thu Jul 25, 2024 1:31 pm DS has the same problem as the trucks, just no room up front for a diff. Tried this back in the day, and might try to relive it again but there just wasn't room.

Sounds like a challenge to build up a buggy to OG truck conversion if I ever heard one

I agree, looks fantastic but yes the wing does need to be moved forward. The leading edge of the wing is much closer to the bends in the wire.

Re: we all have big toys too don't we? show off your ride!

Factory Ford dual exhaust bumper with the parking sensor holes shaved, and Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust installed.
Been working on this idea since I got the truck two years ago.
Couldn’t be happier with the outcome. The system makes the coyote five-o sound wicked :D

Re: Traxxs RAD2 & HAWK2

I’ve got a soft spot for the Hawk 2, it was the first kit build I did all by myself. Naturally my original truck is long gone but about fifteen years ago I was luck enough to pick up a very nice clean barely used example 8)

Been going to Brownies Hobbies since I’m 7 years old….
The only place for me, if John doesn’t have it you probably don’t need it
Otherwise if anything they would get it.

Re: Bored? Come To The Chit / Chat Thread

If the price is right, and you have the money to spend, why not? Isn't that what we do here? Buy stuff we really don't need? I was pretty big into car stereos in the mid to late '90s. I normally ran two "12 Kicker Competitions, and sometimes my friends 15" Kicker Solo-Baric along wi...
