Re: Tamiya Holiday buggy RTR?
I had to jump on this. I love multiple versions of the same vehicle. For a clone, the Extratoy HB body (and multiple chassis parts) were done so well, and so many others done so bad. With this one, if I could find an original 58023 for a "real" price, I would have four variations of the sa...

Re: AE TF-10: An AE Top Fuel Hodge Podge
Finally trying to warp this one up. Don't know about the graphics, but I won't worry with it now. Time to move on to other things. I still haven't driven it on the ground yet though ....................

Re: Newbie's Start on a RC10LSO Build
Well, what I thought would be a couple of hours of replacing some minor parts ended up taking quite a few hours, and I haven't even touched the body. Didn't realize the stock pan has holes for a smaller than stock steering servo, so had to dig one out and pretty it up and shorten the cable. The orig...

Re: Putting old bodies on modern cars. Lets see them!
I posted this pic so many times around Christmas that I did not want to post it anymore, but for this thread, it plays. Protech on a RB10.

Re: Newbie's Start on a RC10LSO Build
Wow, seeing that lexan antenna holder brings back some memories. I personally LOVE the lexan antenna extender! I put one on my Round Tracker, and tried one on the Top Fuel but it ended up so horizontal in the body that it was worthless, so went with a tube. I am convinced that on all pan cars (at l...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Really need to see this dissected and studied :D Believe me, it didn't last 10 minutes once it got out of the box. Literally took a few pics of it and teardown started. :) If this was made in a different factory than the Tamiya, I would be surprised. So far, all suspension, steering, drivetrain par...

Re: Project RC10 graphite…team car?
if he's new to R/C, I'd get him a Traxxas Bandit if you wanted to stick with a buggy. I would put that little RC10 back where it came from for now, and 100% get your son a Bandit as a basher / runner / learner. They are cheap, tough, and parts are easily available at any local hobby shop. Then, onc...

Re: Motors Storage
I am not a motor collector at all, and have just started holding on to them more and more. I have found that a good ol' 540 fits well into my typical cheap storage boxes that I use for pretty much all my RC small parts storage. For about $6-7 each, these bins work pretty well. https://www.walmart.co...

Re: Anyone Have Some Sanyo (red) SCR NiCads Sitting Around?
I was sticking with the red Cadnicas on this one because I thought red with black text would be easier to work with for some reason, but was failing to find a covering that I really liked that I could put a sticker on, and nothing printable was working at all. Then I ran across these on a search for...

Re: Your favorite ESC (with photo)
Not an expert on this subject at all, but an ESC that I was introduced to recently is definitely my favorite so far, simply for its programmability. The Zeta Micro. Via a dipswitch programmer, the following can be set or adjusted: Trigger Start Position, Trigger Full Position, Trigger Start Brake Po...
