The Novak 4 wasn't meant for the most powerful modified motors, it also should be run with a heat sink, and doesn't have thermal overload protection so also should have an inline fuse added (mine would sometimes blow the 25A or 30A fuse). Running with a powerful mod motor for more than 5 min is risk...

I'm happy enough to get one of these. I do think if they did a black pan first and then a gold pan, that the gold pan would be less likely to sell many. It looks like it's better spec than a 4 but not as good as a 1 or 1x, but has the size of a 1x. Not sure what market Novak was targeting with the 2.
