It looks like the edit option is still active so there shouldn't be any issue with that change.Burniefloyd wrote: ↑Fri Oct 08, 2021 10:10 am Can I swap out my second pic for something with better resolution before the poll starts?

Re: The Frankenbuggy
The rear is pretty much done. Just needs some 90 degree adapters added to the shock tower so the shocks can pivot at the top without binding. One quirky feature of this transmission arrangement, the left trailing arm mount obstructs access to the lower motor mount screw. Not a big deal and I might b...

Rehabilitated Toy Grade Runners
Sometimes there's that toy grade RC that has some potential to be just fun enough, or maybe made more fun. With some surplus hobby grade spare parts and a little fabrication, it can get new life as a basher. Anyone care to post a project? Mine: a neighbor was letting this well used Protoyo 4wd drift...

Re: The Frankenbuggy
R6cowboy helped me out with a set of front axles before I even realized I needed to shop for a set. Much thanks for the assist. I did a quick mod to them so I have the option of using them as standard width or wide width. I also printed up a set a steering bellcranks. I really really really don't wa...

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)
That one in front must have just been born. It's still in its birthday suit! Maybe that VW beetle is really a Rabbit in disguise.Incredible_Serious wrote: ↑Tue Nov 02, 2021 7:08 am I turned away for a few minutes, and the buggers multiplied on me! I swear!

Re: Long term storage of cars and parts
A lot of tire preservation discussion here. I've been thinking about the 303 stuff mentioned but haven't tried it yet.

Re: Vintage Nylon Parts Durability
When I dye nylon, I get better color transfer above 140 deg F. So warmth does open up the nylon structure to fluid absorption.

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - November 2021 ** - Winner - Basher67
It's always awesome to see a Pinto dragster doing well, both in real life and in RC form. If only there was a Gremlin dragster to directly compete against it. It would be "Attack of the sleeper drag cars!" It would be cool to occasionally have a theme for the BOTM. Drifter month, replica t...

Re: Resale profit margin
Your purpose for listing parts was to make them available to people that need them. Keeping them affordable seems like the nice thing to do for those needy people. Maybe when you come across auctions like this, you could create a similar auction that severely undercuts their price and in the text te...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
I got my first RC10T. It's abused and dirty, but has CVD axles, 3 piece rear wheels, and... Say lot of work required. There seems to have been some fascination with wrapping everything in silver tape. Shock tubes, nose braces, chassis sides, trans brace, etc. I guess it was to get a polished aluminu...
