You could stalk the mini z with the MB and then run it over!
My concern with the MB are those hex dogbones that the MB and BF both use. If I was building one, I'd want whatever aftermarket replacement might still be available.

Re: Pan Curious
On a flat indoor carpet track, 1/12 with a quick steering servo is a lot of fun. It's like the RC version of a TRON light cycle. Quick acceleration and sharp turning little land sharks Outdoors they just get beat up by the road surface too much due to lack of ground clearance, and have less high spe...

Re: 2.2 wheels on Ultima rere
K&S 8129 brass tubing looks like the OD and ID might be perfect to adapt 4mm axles up to 3/16".

Re: Wondering about the new old buggies
I used to run my vintage Turbo Optima with a Trinity 16T brushed motor. On many surfaces (when geared for speed) that motor pushed it too fast for the car to make turns. The front tires would turn the nose of the car, but it would still be traveling straight basically doing flat spin cartwheels unti...

Re: Fixing up the Frankentruck
After upgrading to an SS4300 brushless motor w/ Super Sport ESC and Lunsford Punsher tie rods the T3 Frankentruck is basically done. . PXL_20211229_033040752.jpg . PXL_20211229_033510540~2.jpg . I think I've also determined that the motor mount it came with is a Custom Works motor mount for 2.4 tran...

Re: Losi BK1 restore
Very nice!
How did you make those drip masks? Put masking tape on something like wax paper and then cut the shape out?

Re: Unidentified NODIS parts
In the 2nd pic, that black gear on the shaft looks like it should be for an Optima/Ultima.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
I really really really wanted this. It cost more than my typical acquisitions, and I'm sure a cheaper example will come up right away because I bought it (actually, a cheaper one already did almost immediately). The chassis is in beautiful shape and I couldn't be happier with it. This will definitel...

Dogbone and CVD measurements
I was thinking there should be a place to get easy reference to know the measurements of buggy and truck dogbones and CVDs. I've got RC10 and B4; RC10T, T2, T3, and T4; Custom Works short and schmedium. This seems like a good starting point. I'm not sure though it there are standard measurement refe...
