Re: Modern R/C Racing Gear
Lotta dudes with GoPro's strapped to their domes out there now. POV stuff. Drones and stuff. As far as clothing? There might be more of a synthetic fiber count in some of the T-shirts? I know the pastel OP corduroy short shorts aren't "cool" anymore. Not alot of mid-calf gold-toe socks wit...

Re: Tires…..
Schumacher still offers blocks and spikes in various compounds (if you don't mind running larger wheels). They go in and out of stock.

Re: RC10CC classic clear wait list....
Two sets of rear tires, two sets of front tires, a decal sheet, and a tub of green slime is $100.44. That qualifies for free shipping. I'll take that. I hate 90% of how AE has handled this whole CC thing, but I am not going to complain about parts coming around that I have always wanted ........

Re: Is there a trick to the TA RC10?
I've built my T3 into a homemade, short course spec abomination....I cut my own chassis, shock tower, and braces from G10 fiberglass, and pretty much redesigned most of the layout....It's become my street terrorizer, and is easily the most fun driving car I have.

Re: What in the R/C would you do?
If you want to see something mad in first person radio control then look up fpv drone racing on YouTube , it's like Star wars , totally out of this world but the drones are full of gyros and accelerometers to make them flyable , if you've ever driven a car with a gyro it kind of takes the skill and ...

Possible Zebra RC10 CE... help requested
Hi all, I'm new to the vintage RC10 platform. My time as a kid was with Tamiya Grasshoppers, Hornets and Frogs. I always wanted a RC10 but the prices were way over our budget. I was recently re-introduced to the vintage RC world which re-ignited my desire to own the unattainable from my childhood. I...

Re: Trying to make a Tra**as SRT fast !
I finally had the motivation to make the steering post spacers. It took a while to get some posts that I could use. Since there aren't any hobby shops within at least 2 hours and their inability to find suitable parts without a part number makes things frustrating.... 20231217_215306.jpg 20231217_21...

Re: Is there a trick to the TA RC10?
Thank you so much!...Yes, it's a servo mount from Exotek. The bracket in front of it is the rear battery holder. Here's a close up:
Here's the front:
I used a JConcepts steering crank for an RC10.

I got a little pee pee
Mainly cause I wanted the documentation to see what they were. As suspected, they are a capacitor.
