Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
Here I go again, doing weird stuff with this chassis. Designed up a scaled down replica of the Composite Craft top plate for the mini JRXT chassis. I had adjusted it to fit my relocated battery hold down but then noticed I had inadvertently made it nearly the same size as a shorty lipo. So behold, a...

Re: Bored? Come To The Chit / Chat Thread
Picked this lot of tires up from the local Flea Market this past weekend. $15, and the seller was happy to get rid of them! :D I can get rear 1/10 donuts from a local guy all day long for $7.50 a pair, so the Bolinks aren't all that exciting, but two rear sets + one front set for a Traxxas Bullet an...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
29MHz was used in Australia, and probably other parts of the world... we didn't have access to the 72/75MHz bands.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
29mhz Rx? That seems unusual. Is the ESC a Yokomo unit? eBay'd the Rx. It's a Polaris from the period. Realized when I opened the box....red antenna wire...29Mhz..oh well. Somebody musta used them, or they wouldn't have made them. But at the same time, maybe why I was able to find it so easily. I d...

Re: Getting the big Fairlane back on the road.... Going the whole 9 inches
Still waiting on the driveshaft to be made..... I tried to get these stickers modified slightly but haven't had much luck with the local printers, so I gave up and decided to just put the originals on. They fit and look ok... Wonder if someone would get a chuckle if they noticed...... 20240308_23565...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Finally, the hunt for some B4 CVD bones is over and in hand today. Two of them were available, so why not. Also, a screw kit from Tony's Screws.

Not a replica just spare parts thrown together, just put shocks on it for the first time.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Got a bit done on the Bullet. Called this a stopping point because although the driveshafts I had were NIP, they were weathered and a bit orange. Will let them soak overnight and continue at some point tomorrow.

Traxxas Bullet Refresh
Started into a Bullet refresh this weekend. Original plan was to go all out, and get the best of everything, but found out most of the parts I had (from two parts cars) cleaned up pretty well, so just decided to refresh it, and only replace what was really needed. As I found on my Slegehammer, Traxx...
