Early Edinger rebuild
It was so joyful starting the resurrection of my old A stamp (late Edinger) https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=48230, so when I got into the build, I simply had to switch to a parallel build including a early Edinger I bought last year. Probably should have finished my own late Edinge...

Re: Turbo Ultima Wing Hardware
Here is a set on a RC10.
The wing wire won't fit through with much more than a 45° bend in it. So you have to mount the wing and then finish bending the wire.

Re: Old School Rocket Car Build
Don't the rocket motors shoot a charge out the front once they burn to the end? The rockets with a "0" at the end (ie. F15-0) have no discharge for chutes..the rockets I am using are all single stage rockets with no discharge...basically the only question is how fast is it gonna run, can ...

Re: RC10 Buggy but 3D printed
For drag racing diff lockers are an upgrade. You'll lose performance when you need to turn, but it's not like anything will explode. 3000kv at 10v seems about right. Older RTR cars came with 30,000 rpm brushed motors so that doesn't seem out of line. Glad to hear that I can run without the diff. I'...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Finally after 2 years some of my cars are out of their boxes and breathing the fresh clean Idaho air. This is half of the new rack system, the other side of the doorway is getting one as well
Ignore how dusty they are. That is stage 2 haha

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
The grizzly hovers about 1/4" off the ground haha. So the rack is just long planks that are spaced 3/4" apart. Glued and brad nailed to the mdf backing, it's super tough. The planks are also 3/4" (previously I used 1/2 and they were just fine, but the cost of 3/4 was within $2 a sheet...

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)
Crazy skies but no rain which is just fine for racing. Side note, the Crown Vic has taillights cause he drives it to the track and back home

Re: Vintage CAM motor specs?
Unfortunately, it could be any number of specs. Manufacturers routinely used the same cans and labels for their motors with the only difference being the winds. The only way to find out for sure is to take it apart to inspect the armature. CAM took the confusion further by not even using part number...
